If you want your bike broken, go ride at reiter pit.

there are two areas within a reasonable distance from everett to ride legally. one is walker valley-i've never ridden it i've heard it is more singltrack oriented(2-wheeler).....the other is reiter pit(out by goldbar), where i ride frequently, its rough and rocky, but has some really good trails, and some good technical stuff. next to those is getting on a ferry to bremerton... headed to tahuya state forest which is also open to riding (in part... check at the state park for a map)

this goes off topic, but.... it needs to be said. if your challenge yourself or push the limits of your machine at all when riding, you're going to break things. you only reaffirm what i said, reiter is technical.... thus: challenging, and increases the likelyhood of mechanical failure. (the Puget Sound Trialers ride there on a regular basis.) in the end, challenging terrain determines who the better riders are, and who maintains thier machines well. there will always be casualties both man and machine, no matter where you ride. BTW.... i have yet to tow a dead/broken machine of mine out of reiter.

There are some good links on this site. WWW.atvactiontours.com. There is a trail book for sale ($8.95) it shows riding sites around the state including the Thurston County. Check out their links to show some other sites operated by the state. Moses lake is in their book Good luck.
