I had ITP mud lites on my last Grizz this new one has the XTR radials. as of sept I put 2200 kl on it in all types of conditions and I would say they are the best. on ice they grip like broom ball shoes. on the roads they are smooth and quiet. can't go wrong with a set on your atv

Anyone use the XTRs on hard surfaces much? A friend has some blacktop that he has to ride on quite a bit and was wondering about their hard surface ride. That and he does a lot of gravel road riding. They'll be used on his KQ at the moment but he'll be trading ATVs in the near future.

MUDLITES ARE THE GREATEST I WAS ON MY RANGER WITH BICLAW TRICLAWS AND COULDN'T TAKE THIS ONE SANDY HILL, SO I WENT BACK TO THE CAMP AND GOT MY RHINO WITH THE MUDLITES AND IT CRALWED UP IT EVEN AFTER I TORE IT ALL UP WITH THE RANGER. OH OH AM I PUTTING THE RANGER DOWN. NEVER I LOVE THEM BOTH BUT THE RHINO JUST MAKES ME FEEL LIKE IM RIDEING MY HARLEY. ITS MORE SPORTIER BOTH ARE GREAT MACHINES, WE JUST TALKING ABOUT TIRES HERE

Thanks for the reply! I think I found a great price on them, so will probably order some soon. Just trying to decide if I can afford some aftermarket rims with the bigger offset to further improve the handling of my Brute. Looks like those aluminum spacers are not a whole lot cheaper than the rims!

You probably already picked up another couple inches with your rims, right (like 1" per side)? I think I'd have a problem fitting the Brute in the back of my Dodge if I went with wider rims, bigger tires and spacers! It would surely improve the handling though - and would probably really sling some mud out past my fenders!

I did get them. I tell you what! These things HOOK UP!! My first attempt at a hill that I frequently made with the stockers put me on my ear when I tipped it over backwards. Unlike when I would spin and claw my way to the top before. They seem to be wearing real well. They seem to handle better too. My bike is full time 4x4 so they do tend to wander a little in the loose stuff. Specifically gravel. But I am able to make holes and hills that I only dreamed about with the stocker.......I really dont think you will regret buying them......

I paid something like $620.00 for mine on Type 5 wheels. All the hardware came with and shipped to my door. Problem that I had though. They delivered 1 pair of 26s and 1 pair of 27s. It took some time to get it all straightened out but the dealer was real nice about it even though I probably wasnt at times. I had a trip to go on and pushed pretty hard. It was probably a mistake that wont happen again. Like I said. I pushed pretty hard at times.
As far as wheel spacers? I think I will be getting some pretty soon. The added height of the lift and tires makes me think wider will be better. Im going to get the high lifter spacers. Ive looked around a lot and they look to be the best.

I put some fender extenders on it and have had no issues with mud landing at least on me. Ive got a full size long bed Dodge ram and it fits w/o the spacers. But youre right. With another couple of inches. Id be driving OVER the wheel wells. I usually dont stick it in the truck. Ive got a weekend warrior RV so width is of really no consequence.

I was also wondering how these did on pavement, hard dirt/gravel trails.
I am on those kind of surfaces just as much as the mud.
So I dont want to giveup alot of trail handling, just to be better in the wet stuff.

You should see me stick my brute into the back of my S-10 zr2, its a tight squeeze, over both wheel wells and 1 rear window later. Its also stove the wells all to pieces. But thats the price u pay for getting a full size wheeler, and not a full size truck to match :-)

I ride a lot of black top with my mud lights. The only thing I dont like is that at high speeds the front end feels to floaty. But other than that its mint.
