I was looking at the 25" mudlite ATs untill I saw that the xls have larger thread. I read that they have deep lugs. What does that mean. Would I need something else to fit them on my wheels quad?

It has longer tread...which will make your tread last longer and have better traction but it may ride like a tractor...Not very smooth.

If you do mostly trail riding and want to make your sport utilty ride smooth and straight and have great traction in everything but super deep mud you need to get a radial such as the ITP Holeshot ATR 25" . If your doing mudding mostly then get the mudlite. Stay with AT (shorter Tread) for smoothest ride (Not A Radial unless you get the XTR but no 25" Size). HoleShot ATR
Watch ATV Television ... Every show I bet they say a Radial makes such a difference on Sport Utility ATV's. Plus Radials work real good in snow BR>

I have a set of XL Mudlites 25" and I love them. I have not felt any extra vibration and they handle better than the stock tires by far. I like the deeper tread because they will last longer and have great traction in the mud while still good on hard pack. Went with the stock sizes because I was worried about losing power and I didn't want to get totaly covered in mud when I ride
