I bought a bracket at Cabela's that is a 2" receiver with a bar on the back that goes behind the frame and attaches with u bolts and then one bolt comes up throuch the old hitch bracket. It works nice and would eliminate your problem. It was $65.00, But if you can or know someone that welds it would be simple to make.

keep breaking both frame bolts on my stock trailer receiver/hitch while trying to move my boat in and out of my backyard. Does anyone know where I can purchase a more beefier set up? I have a 2004 yamaha grizzly 660

No guys, it 22 foot cuddy,It moves it just fine but I do believe its a tounge weight problem.Dealership when I bought it new told me I shouldnt have problems moving boat around. I just figured maybe there was a stronger receiver made. I was moving boat around in wet damp yard and I think the trailer tires sunk alittle while backing up and hitch/frame bolts snaped

If tongue weight is the problem you may wish to rig up a good sized caster wheel (like the tail wheel of a conventional gear light aircraft) under the front of the trailer and have it take the weight while your ATV mainly does the pulling.
Some better trailer jacks have a removable plate on the bottom of the entended pipe so that the baseplate can be removed and a wheel slippe don in it's place. Those set-ups are great in design but usually come with cheap, barely casterable solid plastic tires. You may want to get a ball bearing, fuller casterable pneumatic tire to take the load and still be maneuverable. Just my two cents.

Wouldn't that mean that you are surpassing the towing capability and/or tongue weight capacity of the machine? If you beef up the setup, you may just break something more major. How big is the boat?

Is the trailer single or double axel? If it's single, it would DEFINITELY be too much tongue weight. Even with a double you'd be pushing it. I would say that could bend your rear axel if the bolts didn't give out.

I hope your not trying to move that big boat in your user pictures? holy crap man that boat looks to be at least 25 feet long and must weigh 5,000 pounds.. that's a bit much for any quad to lug around ROFL
I use my quad to move around a 19' cuddy cabin boat and thats pushing it, my boat weighs 3000 pounds easy enough but I don't have a stove, sink, fresh water, kitchen, fridge and all the stuff im sure yours does,. also my boat only have a 4 cyl engine, yours is prolly sporting a 454 chevy bigblock so 5000 pounds or more....
