Hi I am not too sure about the Bruin...But around here you can get a Kawasaki 360 for about the same price and it comes with a 3 year warranty.
The guy I ride with all the time has a kawi 360 and it is an awesome quad for the money. I just thought since they are somewhat similar the 3 year warranty might be attractive to you.

Depends on what you plan on using it for. If you're going to do serious mudding or use a snow plow I'd go with something with more cc's and a low range. I bought mine for hunting, light farm work, and easy trail riding and couldn't be happier. Especially since it was $4550 OTD.

I go riding with a friend with a 2004 Bruin 350. He is about 250lbs and I've seen no power problems. He has gotten stuck in the snow a few times but not due to power, but the 3 wheel drive, (no locker), and no ground clearance (no independant suspension). He seems to be happy with the Bruin. I know the Kodiak has independant suspension and a front locker but it's more expensive.

Eiger is a #1 super buy, most quad for your buck. All the magazines have ranked it as a shoot out winner. Plus it has a low range.
Only the outlander outperforms it and that is mainly in the power department, but it is alot more exspensive.

I rode with a bruin this weekend long story short my quad with bald stock tires went more places and did not have to keep getting pulled out. Also the long hill climb he ATTEMPTED numerous times but ran out of power, probably due to lack of low range, was only crested when he was winched up. One last thing the bruin has a tippy prob, on several off camber trail sections the bruin kept having his rear wheel on the uphill side come off the ground, and on fast sections it kicked the rear end up and the front end would dive to one side causing instability,by the way the rider was far from not being experienced, he is probably better than me and the other guy we were riding, with he was riding it to see why his wife was always complaining about it handleing like crap. I like riding with the bruin, it makes my eiger look even better than it already is.

Crude, Agile,Indestructable, Unstopable.....Did i mention CRUDE. Noisy. Not as pretty as my honda. It also like to laugh at my honda when it sees its driver
struggling down the trails. Needs pretty rims, Mudlites 25", and earplugs. Did i mention unstopable....Sunk twice, turned over a bunch. Bashed over half the rocks in appalacia. 1700 mi and have changed the oil, cleaned the brakes, adjusted the valves, drained & cleaned the clutch belt, cleaned the air filter.
The atv is un-damaged, reliable, and crude.
