Yes, I had one of those trailer and had 3 blow outs in one summer. I was told that my truck with 16 inch tires and the trailer with 12inch tires going 70 mph down the highway was turning those 12 inch wheels too fast and heating them up. I sold that tailer and got a 5 x14 with 15icnh tires. No problems what so ever

Dont waste your money.
Go ahead and get at least a 5x8 with the side rails and tilt gate and larger tires (13, 14, 15"). You wont regret it,,,and it will be a little safer.
I paid 500 from Northern Tool. I was happy with it,,,,and I sold it 2 years later for $400.
It is on my pic page,,,the red 400ex is sitting on it.

oh yeah,,,,if you get one with the wire mesh deck,,,,,,the mud will wash right thru,,,,when you go to the carwash.

Yeah it will. We lived right next to the carwash when we had that trailer,,,,get back into town,,,wash it off,,,back the trailer in the garage,,,,done. I guess it never really became an issue for me. Even if it was a plank deck,,,you still get plenty of crap with any open trailer.

My brother borrows one of those folding trailers. I just welded a corner for him that broke and the axle is bent. I'm sure the owners gotten his moneys worth out of it, though. Today on the highway, a truck was towing his yamaha on this type of trailer. As we were driving along the frontage road a little while later, we saw him parked along side the shoulder. He blew out the right tire. If you do a lot of highway driving or long tows. I would get the biggest tires you can afford on a trailer.

Our neighbor was telling me last week he is going to be selling his golf cart trailer for four or five hundred come late August. It's a 5'X8' deck with a single pipe rail about a foot up from the deck. Tilt bed and a drop down tailgate about 4' long. Thing I don't like about it is it has small wheels. 10" I would guess. Makes the deck low to the ground and by removing the pipe rail you could load two quads crossways on it quite easily. Drop me a line if anyone wants contact info.

have a brand new one, the 1175 pound one, if you live in pa, forget getting a plate for it, its living hell, other then that i like the trailer

I've had one for about 8 years now. It was used when we got it. Never had the first problem out of it. I use it constantly for everything from lawnmowers, ATV's, lumber, you name it. Even made sides for it to haul brush to the landfill. The only thing I've done to it besides paint is new wiring/lights, and we recently replaced both wheel bearings for the first time.
On the other side of the coin. The longest haul has probably been 120 miles or so with a golf cart. Most of my hauling is under 50 miles or so. I wouldn't try to use it for a lot of open highway drving at high speeds with the small wheels. In that case, I would opt for a slightly bigger trailer with 13-15" wheels. Much safer, and probably more fuel efficent.
