I have 589's on mine but still have the stock rims...

Hey lafngas
Do you think that the c-series rims will have your tires stick out farther that 1 inch spacers????????????????

I have 589's mounted on the stock rims on my Rincon. Had them on ITP C-Series wheels, but didn't care for the offset and the way they stuck out from under the fenders. This is my second set of 589's and I think they're great for the money. The set on my Rubicon had 1700 miles on them and still had 70 of the tread left. They dig like crazy in the mud/snow, but still ride good on hardpack. You might notice a bit of power loss compared to stock tires, but not enough to worry about.

I have got 589's and c-series wheels! love em

hey camo, I messured them and they are 1 inch per wheel wider than my stock wheels only because they have the off set different than stock. I gained 2 inches front and rear wider than stock and the handling is much better than before however, you do get pretty dirty when going in the mud because the tires stick out there a fair amount!

I have 26" Mudlites on my Prairie 650, and my wife has 27" Mudlites on her Vinson. They are mounted on stock rims. I have a picture posted at Kawieriders. Here is a link. http://www.k_wieriders.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2920&st=100
Just insert an "a" between the k and the w and you will be all set. My quads are the second picture down on the page.
As info, you may hear people post about how poorly the Mudlites wear. I have just under 1000 miles on mine and they still are at 70-75% tread left. They don't wear like 589's, but they do wear respectably. And, I ride a fair amount of hard pack and asphalt. They are light, ride well, and do well in the mud. I find them to be a very good all around tire. Good luck w/ whatever you choose.

Hwyflyer,
Nice looking quad. I have been thinking about going with the Dirt Devils also. After seeing yours, I think that is what I'll do.

All my bikes (except the Recon and 90's, which have stock tires/rims), have ITP tires AND rims. Holeshots on the sport bikes, and ATR's on Ranchers. The ATR's are superb, but I ride desert, not Louisiana swamps.

i will probably put some on my rancher when i get it. i have to decide between the 589s and the mudlite tires. i still dont know what rims to pick so i want to see what people have and what looks good. i am deciding between the c series and the c series t-5 or t-6.

26" Dirt Devils, ITP C-Series rims on my "04" Rancher AT....so far doing a good job for me with just a slight power loss due to the increase in size. I am happy with them!!
