I just strap a duffle bag to the back rack. I have considered a plastic trunk because it would be durable and water proof. I would probably have to remove it to drive under fallen trees and gates.

I like the idea of the soft atv bags with a padded seat.

I picked up a box made by Flambeau called the "Tailgator" at walmart for $55. It's about 36" long by 18" wide and about 18" deep. I put 2 eyebolts on each side with wood blocks on the inside of the box for support and mounted it with rubber bungee traps for easy removal. It's not totally waterproof but pretty close. Keeps most of everything out. Considering the price of these plastic boxes- $180-$200 figured i could do with it pretty well for $55. dg

Just bought a new 700 EFI SP. I am looking to get some kind of rear rack storage for my trail stuff (winch kit, hatchet, e-tool, first aid, ect.). What kind of storage do you use and why? Thinking about a soft sided bag of some type.

Thanks for the help.
