I'm not sure what tires the AT comes with. I eventually replaced my Rancher stockers with ITP ATR's on ITP 12X7" aluminum rims. Really lightens things up, and the bike handles way better. And, it widens the bike a lot, for some added stability.

I never air out the 4X4 (at least not on purpose!), because if you land front wheels first, you better be on the gas or be prepared to do a stoppie!
The 2X4 on the other hand, can air it out pretty well! If somebody is jumping, I like to go over and bust out a big jump, and leave them sitting there with this dumb look on their face.

ok, if you all are talking about being able to get big air on a utility, or 4x4. then why on a steep hill, and about 5 feet long can i only land 5 feet futher than the jump, oh but one thing, the land (as in earth) after the jump stays the same hight, and i was going mabye a little under 25. and i dont remember going to high, but who the hell knows, all i know is 5 feet further than the jump.

Wow I didn&39;t realize at the time I first read this but I too broke my battery box when I went a little higher than 5 feet, lol oh yeah and i went exactly 35 feet. My differential hit the bottom of the box. And how do u do wheelies on your rancher? Because I have an extremely hard time getting the front end up

I've had my AT for 6 months now, and absolutely Love it. Pros = greatest versatlilty in its class, with switch on the fly 4x4 - Auto or electric shift, great running boards, lights, etc. Honda laid out the istrumentation cluster well. Easy motor to perform routine maintenance. Smoothest Tranny in the Whole Industry. THe black plastic fenders can be trashed through the woods and all you have to do is pull the pop pins and replace the plastic for about 15$ per section -good as new! Try that on a Yamaha. The bike fits me great, and handles like a dream.
Cons (my opinions) - Somewhat underpowered, although controlling the RPMs through ESP helps tremendously. Not the greatest in the mud, but again ESP 1st gear helps control the rrr's and helps a lot. No adjustable front shocks to help with plowing. One of the other readers noted that his bike was rusting in the open areas of the frame, but mine is not having that problem.
GREAT BIKE HONDA - Glad to see they've done their homework.

I love mine BUT............If you upgrade the tires, oly go to 25's. I've got 26's and it robbed a lot of power in the deep mud. I had to do a lot of mods to get the torque back and i think I still lost some top speed due to the bigger tires.
