2003 Kodiak oil leak

If you changed or had the oil filter changed just before this started I'd start there. Maybe just tighten the filter.

Its fine, they all do it. Just hook it up back to the air box lid.

Yeah mine does it too. I asked the one of the service guys where I bought it from about it and he told me the same thing. It's perfectly normal. Didn't seem right to me either though.

I'm getting an oil smell every so often with a very little oil smoke(happened twice) I was riding about 2 miles an hour. I pulled the covers off and saw about two teaspoons worth of oil under the carb, looks like spray got on the exaust. I could'nt see a leak or crack. engine sounds normal and not running hot. Any info will help. Thanks!! TED.

Opon further inspection I've found the oil is coming from a tube thats attached to the air filter snorkle thingy. What is this tube & why is oil dripping out of it?? Is something goofed up??

The tube is the final drive gear case breather hose.....Why would oil come out of it??
