I have a Hauck clutch and it helps, but not near enough. I have an `04 Grizzly w/ 27" ITP's on ITP wheels and it won't even peel out on gravel. It barely powerbrakes on grass or gravel. I put my brothers 25" tires/wheels off his vinson and it still is weak.
What brand of clutch kit did you buy and how do you like the low end power?
Thanks

I would think so go to their forum and ask the same question in the Yamaha board.

I have an 02 Grizzly w/27" ITP... I lost alot of power so I had it clutched a week ago, after riding it this last weekend in the mud and hill climbing I'm glad I did it. I used to beat all 700's with my stock tires by 1 or 2 lenghs before, now with much bigger tires I get beat by 1 700 by 1 lengh and another 700 that is clutched w/27" ITP's I beat by 3 lenghs. I think it was worth the price...

I would like to know also. Does anyone have or seen one of these infamous creatures.

is the same clutch kit available for kodiak 450's? I assume it would do the same sort of thing.

Hauck Power Sports offers a much cheaper kit that is supposed to do the same thing......I have not purchased one yet, but plan to. Check out this link.

I believe that the 04 grizzly is higher geared than the 02 & 03 so that might be why yours doesn't launch like you want it to even with the clutch kit.
