Keep us posted on the long term durability of your machine!!

Is it louder than the stock muffler? What did you pay?

From what I have been reading you just need to go up one jet size which you can get from your dealer.

Pro Circuit has finally built a pipe for the Ozark and I am going to pull the stock air filter and try and find a K & N that will fit the stock airbox. Web has offered to grind a cam for it if I can find out the rocker arm ratio and send him a stock cam to grind. My son is racing ours in Utility Class racing so we are going to be doing quite a few changes to it. Powerwise a Recon isn't even in the same ballpark and he beats the Ranchers about 1 1/2 quads in the dragracing events. Suzuki really outdid themselves in the 250 class with this machine. Hopefully their Z250 will be equally impressive.

So far the only things I have found that I don't like are that the shifting is kind of sticky and it has the same air filter set-up as the Z except it is a smaller filter. I'm going to use the Alba adapter for the Z and find a K & N with outerwear that fits the Ozarks airbox.

The Pro Circuit pipe has finally arrived. It's about the same size as the stock one except it has a much brighter finish. Hopefully I can get it installed tonight and try it out. Also received the Alba Air filter adapter but I have to do some measuring to find a K & N that will fit the adapter and fit in the Ozarks air box. The quiet core is a joke. It's nothing more than the stock spark arrestor with a washer welded in the middle. Don't waste your 29.99 on it.

Well I installed the pipe last night and it made a huge difference. The Utility mufflers must really be restrictive. It was a big seat of the pants difference that even my Wife felt when she ran it through the gears. Hopefully the air box mods and cam change will help as much as this did.

At idle with the spark arrester installed it's no louder than stock. When you get on it it's a little louder than a XR650 with the baffle out but it's a really good sounding deep toned pipe that you never get tired of hearing. It's not the poppy annoying sound that some of the pipes make. I paid 249.00 from Kames and I'm sure it can be bought cheaper but alot of places I called weren't aware that it was available.

I really like the sound of it. If I can ever get this Z400 sold and get a Prairie 650 bought I may even put one on it.

When I saw that you bought a new Pro-Circuit pipe I had to reply. I know my ATV is alot different from yours, but I realy like the sound of a Pro-Circuit pipe. I have gotten alot of complements on it as well. My .02$.

i would like to get that T-4 pipe for my ozark, but i am not sure on the whole rejetting process. I dont want to have it so i screw it up and have to take it to a shop. i'm sure if all i would have to do is change a main jet i would be fine but i've been reading some articles on it and it sounds like i could get in over my head. if i do this, i would like to have it jetted for all year around riding in wisconsin, if that is even possible. if i were to only get the pipe and didn't do any other mods, could anyone give me a rough estimate on what size main jet i would need and or what you had to do to yours?

Thanks
