My friend has one and it is rock solid reliable. Those motors are tough.

Most reliable quad EVER! Tip = Guys that do a lot of muddin' on their 3004X4 need to change rear-end lubricant often for optimum gear life.

Have a blue/white one; always thought they were as reliable as anything else until we took it up to Drummond 'The Rock' Island.
Down into the quarry, swimming in Lake Huron and over literally miles of rock-strewn trails with a heavy load---------never sputtered with no breakdowns or busted parts yet.
Definitely cold-blooded by nature on account of the 'choke' set-up but ALWAYS starts the first time.
How does it do on the practically vertical hills of W.V.?

I have a 99'. This is one great all around quad. My wife has a 350 ES, it has more power, but is no more comfortable than mine. In fact she likes the ride on mine better. I'm going to purchase the Rincon when it comes out, but I'll won't sell the 300 and I have had a lot of offers. Good quading.

A durable machine that is capable of taking lots of abuse. But it is now outdated and suffers from a bad suspension (for riding). The newer machines like the Rancher, Kodiak, or an Artic Cat are better performing machnines but are certainly no more reliable.

My parents have had two for 4 years and I had one for two. NEVER one problem. Not one. Very reliable. Went anywhere. A very decent quad. I like my Polaris 700 better though.
