I don't know about the Big Bear, but sometimes the offset of the rims from front to back are different. This could cause the tires to stick out more to. Make sure both rims are the same, otherwise you could have a problem when you put the wider tires on the front rims.

I have a 99 350 Big Bear 4x4.Yesterday I took the wheels off where I could inspect the boots and brakes.I am wanting to put big tires on it so I put the back wheels(25x10x12) on the front and the front wheels(25x8x12)on the back.Rode it around the yard for a little bit and it steered just fine,no trouble turning at all.My plan is to buy two more rear wheels(10x12)to put on the front. Looking to put 26" tires on it all the way around.Also want the front and back tires to be the same size.Will be putting a lift on it also.My question is can any one see a problem with this change?The stock rear wheels on the front did fine, they just stuck out about half way past the fenders which I don't have a problem with.If I do this the front will be tracking wider than the rear,Will this cause any mechanical problem? Right now I am looking at the Mud machine Bi claws(26x9.5x12 I think) or the Tri claws (26x10x12 I think).Does any one else have a tire suggestion?

Thanks for the replies folks I stuck with my stock wheels front and back with 26x10x12 outlaws all the way around and it worked out great.

No there shoulden't be a problem my freind has a 99 and he has 27"12x12 on the back and 27"10x12's on the front he says the on little problem is turning with huge tires but i think 26"'s wont efect it

the only two problems i can see are pre-mature wear on your clutch (i think high lifter sells a stronger system) and raising your center of gravity with the lift kit. as long as you dont like to hit track or roost the corners real fast you should be ok.

Just make sure what ever you do that the tires are all the same size or in proportion wiht the stock ones
