Hey Vin, aka Edison That is a great Idea. I've bolted my sawcase to the rack bars with u-bolts, but I like that one.

I used a roller fairlead in my winch installation. The extra fairlead was made into a chainsaw holder. The fairlead was mounted high on my rear drop rack. A threaded stud was mounted below. The bar of the chainsaw slides through the fairlead and the bar is secured via a wingnut on the stud which passes through a hole in the bar. The fairlead supports the weight of the saw and the wingnut on stud holds the saw securely in place. Pictures at HTTP://communities.msn.com/Chainsawholder I hope someone can use this.
