I have oxlites on my King Quad and i am happy with them.Because of the places i ride the cv guards was the 2nd thing i put on my quad. A winch was the first.

They are probably very close. They are styled about the same, and about the same thickness of steel. Price might be the only difference, and even then, just a few dollars. I have Oxlites and they are awesome. I got them from Dennis Kirk for like 39.95, but Dennis Kirk doesn't carry stick stoppers. If I would have looked in Cabelas first, I would have got the stick stoppers. Either one is great, and I doubt one is actually better than the other. Just depends on which name you prefer or which place you order from in my opinion.

It's happened to me, the junk building up on top of the guard and then tearing a boot, tore 2! If you don't ride lots of deep mud it might not be a problem.
I have looked at a lot in person, and like the Ox-Lite best. DON'T BUY Cycle Country, by time I got done grinding away parts of the guards that interfered with the a-arm, drive shafts, etc... there wasn't much left. (egageration). They just took LOTS AND LOTS of cutting & griding to fit.

I put the OEM CV protectors on mine. The axles are still exposed but the inner boots are protected. It was a very simple installation.

The Oxlites work great and were very simple to install.Just cut the extra length of U bolt to the nut when installed and they look very clean and no problems with anything hanging up on them.Great protection well worth the 40 bucks.

i read in a post somewhere that people were having MORE trouble with cv boots after installing cv guards. it seems stuff was accumulating on top of the plate under the control arm & wearing thru the boot.i've ridden without them for years without a problem,but was thinking about getting them, now i dont know what to do.

What brand of CV boot guards are better? The Stick Stoppers, or Oxlite? I have a 1996 King Quad, and am wondering which ones would be better? Thanks, Mike.
