Is the input shaft turning going in to the gear box? You may have sheared a pin or spline where the yoke slips over the input shaft. If it is an internal problem the costs shouldn't be too bad if you didn'd damage the gear case. Dan

First things first, check your rear end oil. Did it leak out? Is it white? What does it smell like?? After you do that come tell us what happen.

Yes, please tell us how much grinding your rear end was doing. Also include if your rear end leaks, is it white, and does it smell? LOL! :D Sorry, Boner, but I couldn't resist! I was thinking the same thing as BLH (about the chili), and I couldn't restrain myself! It just came out! :D ROTFLMAO :D On the serious side, WAS there any oil in the axle? A bad seal would've let it leak it, and stop lubrucating the gears, which lead to their failure. If there was, and it was white, it would indicate that water got into your gears, so you have a bad seal, which has now lead to ruined gears in the axle. ALso, exactly how much wood did you pile on your BearTracker? Too much weight, and you may have snapped a tooth off in your rear end (ohh, no, that didn't come out right!:o ). I mean, you may have stripped a gear in your axle. Don't know about prices, and labor may be the highest cost. Good luck, and let us know....
