it wouldn't matter if it was a 250 2-stroke or 4-stroke. the dirtbike will beat the raptor hands down everytime. I have a few friends that ride motocross and ive rode down gravel roads with my buddy on his yz250f and me on my pred and there isn't any comparison...the dirtbike is by far faster.

dude i bet a crf/kx-f/rm-z/yz-f/sx-f 250 would still destroy most or all stock quads (i have no idea how strong 700r's 450r's and 525s are)
I drove my friends crf250r and yz250f, and it was insane fast for what im used to, i got back on my little quad, and i was thinking "Is it broken? why does it feel so slow all of a sudden?"

RM-250 not a doubt. Friend of mine put an RM250 motor in a blaster and it hauled a$$! Beat ds-650's all the way including top end. the RM blaster was on 18" tires and was slippin and the ds had perfect traction. Now imagine that in the weight of a dirtbike. RM all the way. if you want to see the RM blaster it is..

I have a badass 700 raptor but the fact is the rm250 is still a motorcycle. The only motorcycles i even think about race is like a 125 2 stroke or a 250 4 stroke. IF YOU BEAT A 250 or a 450 on a quad the guy had no idea what he was doing.

12k after mods. he has done minor engine work, dialed in the suspestion. he is a great rider though.
