Your rap 350 will hang with any sport quad in the trails, because trails you can only go so fast and most of the time you'll be in 1st through 3rd gear, maybe 4th if it opens up some.I had a rap 350 last year and in trails i could hang right with everyone i was riding with, including z400,450r,raptor 660.Now get out the trails and your gonna have some problems keeping up if you try to race them, but the rap 350 is an awesome quad,so have fun.

the only quad your going to have a problem hanging, heck, any quad going to have a problem hanging with in the trails now is the Polaris Outlaw other then that, just like everyone said, you can only go so fast before you get skill limitations and the riding area fits in, if your just bombing aroudn with a few friends, no problem, but if your going to race it, you might have some trouble

Well it didn't work too well for Matt Smiley......

In fact I've not seen any Outlaw do anything impressive at even the local level.

I know I was not personally impressed at all with the Outlaw, it's very fast but handles like crap....

cc's dont always mean everything. though i agree with displacement on most accounts. a kid up the street, josh, has a friend with a souped up 400EX with a 440 bore, cam, exhuast, big carb ect ect. he kept shoveling the sh1t that he could beat me clean. we did 3 drags and 1 trail run. the first drag was from a stand still on pavement i got him clean, second was a rolling start on pavement and i totaly smoked him there, third was on grass and we came up even cuz my stupid ass tires wouldent hook-up. i won the trail run, but that was fairly close nothing to brag over, but fun. i know that my story has nothing to do with 300ex's, but i was still making a point.

your raptor will definately take that 300ex! i ride with both and the 350 is alot quicker.

from my experience i had a 350Raptor last year before i traded it off and got what i have now. If you are on loose gravel or anything really lose unless you have aftermarket tires your definately not gonna beet the 300EX off the like, because the 300's mellow power make it grab alot better in the lose stuff but now if you too are on blacktop or something thats definately not loose then you gonna beet him off the line and all the way to the end. A 350 raptor has the same top speed of a 300EX that is geared up 1 tooth in the front. The 300 that i raced when i got mine even has an E-series slip on and was jetted. Hope this helps ya..

your 350 should do fine,as long as you have decent riding skills. my warrior hung with much bigger quads in the trails w/o much difficulty (raptor 660, predator, 450r, yfz450), the 350 raptor is supposed to be more egronomic than the warrior, so you should have no problem.

i have an 06 raptor 350, no perfomance mods and i was wondering if i could take my friends 2000 300EX with a k&n filter, and a jet kit in it... also how will my 350 raptor compare with other quads?? thanks...

ok thanks for the reply, but how will i do riding with other quads like a 660r, 400ex and z400s? i know i cant beat them top end or anything, but will i be able to keep up threw the trails?

i have knarley tires on the back, and razr's for the front, i also have DG nerf bars on it.

You shouldn't have any probs beating him.

Dude i just sold my 350 it had a fmf factory 4 complete, Jet kit, Pro flow, 366 bigbore, and holeshots and i would beat my buddies kfx 8/10 times. Great choice i love me banshee but i miss the 4 stroke grunt and the abiliy of lifting in a whellie and riding it.

my question to you is why would you come on here and ask everyone if your bike can beat his? go out there and race him. if everyone on here says you will lose are you not going race him? if everyone says you will win are definately going to race him? if we say you will lose and you win, you'll come back here and tell everyone how they were wrong. if we say you will win and you lose are you going to come back here and tell everyone that you lost and we were wrong?

i mean common sense would tell you that you should be able to beat him in a race. you have a 350 he has a 300. you have 50 more ccs at your disposal. yes you should win, but you always have to factor in condition of the track, rider experience/skill, mods on each bike, etc. there are a lot of factors other than just "do you think i'll win?" does it really matter what we think. it takes all the fun out of it if you ask us. that just like looking at two football teams and say this team has X player and the other team as Z player, well X player is better than Z player so X player's team will win. NO, that's why they play the game. go out there race him then make a post title "just race my friends 300ex...." then tell us the results, to me that is a far better post than "do you think i'll win...."

hey dont be so shure that 300ex's are slow i beat my friends 350 raptor every time we ride but with only a jet kit and stock gearing you will beat him

this looks like an old topic, but what the hell. I raced a stock 300ex on my stock 350 raptor 2 weeks ago. I didn't know it at the time, but I still had about 1/4 choke on, and my air filter is very dirty. I was suprised, he kind of kept up from 1st through 3rd. I was still pulling ahead of him. When I hit 4th, I simply left him. by the time I hit 6th, he was probablly 40 ro 50 yards behind me.
