I am with you on this one! I have posted on this a thousand times. I hope somebody out there in manufacturer land is listeneing!
Most folks don't need a 600-800 pound huge heavy lard a$$ terrible handling monster farm tractor utility, but if you want 4wd (other than the OLD Wolverine) you have no other choice. This is all that manufacturers are offereing, so of course they are "great sellers". They sell because there are no other choices, so the manufacturers have no incentive to offer an alternative. It's a vicious circle, and the current crop of big bore utilities just keep getting more ridiculous every day!
Most folks are just recreational trail riders, and would be best served by a light, agile, great handling sport machine, but one that has 4wd backup just in case they get into trouble out there on the trail. Is there not any manufacturer out there who has the guts to introduce a whole new paradigm????

Give me a break on that NEW Wolverine. It is just a warmed over utility, with no racks. A giant step backwards!
