Spend the extra money. There are hundreds of reasons why you should do so, some of which are that 1- there made like crap and 2- nobody knows crap about/supplies parts for them when you need help repairing them.

The off brand quads will require more work and TLC to keep them in good working order. The less mechnaically inclined someone is, the better off they would be with one of the larger manufacturers. Also check into support and parts availability in your area before laying out any $$.

Any particular off brand you were looking at? Some are definitely better than others.

i was lookin at some off brand bikes for people i now are they good bikes or should they spend the extra cash for a name beand bike???
