As far as wear, the holeshot Xct, but they come in 22`s the xcr like i have 20`s they hook up great but there soft compare to the xct. the next tire im getting will probably be between the razor 2 or holeshot HD. I want something that can last. And a little more ground clearance.

try a set of holeshot xcs they are a little bit taller than the standard holeshots, and they wear pretty well. I put a full season on a set on a ds650 and they held up well 6ply rating and good traction, good combination.

6 ply razr 2s are indestructable...well, lets say more than any other, and really hook nicely

does anyone actually have irazr's? or are people just talking again about what they've heard from some magazine with some editor who thinks he likes one tire over another. i was thinking about getting them for my fronts, cause i just have razrs up front, and razr 2's in the rear.

razr 2s i have them and they just rip and irazrs my friend has them he says they aren't really that great

i did a search and found nothing... i ride a lot of trails and some mud. some road riding to get to where were going, and A LOT of grassy/hardpacked areas. so what would be the best all around rear tire, good grab on just about everything. i was thinking knarlys, razrs (maybe the 2's or the i's but im not sure if i have that kind've money), holeshot hd's(once again money..), or holeshot xcr's. they'd be 20x11x9 or 20x11x10 (i like the look of the 10's)
if i go by looks and if i want to spend the money then it'd be between the irazrs and the hd's. i love the looks of them both. but whatever tire i get they'll be mounted on douglas .190's or itp t9's
thanks in advance

yeah, the knarlys do look pretty good.. im sure that as long as the tread on my buddies klaw's lasted, then the knarlys should last a long time too
Posted by: prieber14
yeah, i want a tire that will be mostly soft for an xc track..but hard enough to withstand an mx track
Posted by: prieber14
im still not completely sold yet..but i think i may just go ahead and order the knarlys, cuz they're not as expensive as the irazrs, razr 2's, and hd's.

got hds and they grab anything and the sidwall is mad thick

IRazr Radial.
The radial does everything better than the bias ply molds. There's a reason the bias ply tires went obsolete on the road, it's only a matter of time before it does the same thing OFF the road.

I have some ITP holeshot XTC and they work great. I'v had them for close to 3 years and still have about 85% tread left! Plus its alot harder to tip my bike now.

irazors hook up the best but wear fast.the razor2 and holeshots will last a lot longer than the irazors and will be almost as good.

the had the irazor last year great hook up but they wear alot faster than the razor2.for getting the most out of your money i say the razor2 is the one to get ovor the irazor

If you are looking for a tire that will hook up on everything without any slipping, either itp blackwater or maxxis all-trak.These tires hook up great in all terrain. But if you are looking for a light sporty tire, i would reccomend maybe the knarlys. The lugs on the knarly look like they would hook up great in anything whether soft or hard. Also, they are a little more rounded than the razrs and would hook up in deeper mud a lot better.I still would like to know which tire is better for certain tire conditions, the knarly or klaw.I am thinking about buying new tires and those 2 have my attention.

I dont have any experience with the knarlys from kenda but I have heard good things about her and I pretty much do the same kind of riding as you so I am going to give them a try also. I have tryed the razrs and I was happy with them everywhere except in deep mud they couldn't really dig down to get any traction but they still got me through what I encountered. For the price that I got them at though I was alittle dissapointed because I got them right before they came out with the razr2's and now they are alittle cheaper but the way the knarlys look and their tread design I think they look pretty good so even though I havn't used them thats what I would reccomend

Yeah you are probably right unless they used a softer tread on the knarly which I could understand because they obviously designed it to get alittle more bite then the klaw but you never know. The klaw was designed more for motocross too and Im thinking about doing some racing so I dont know wether I should get the klaw or knarly.....still deciding

Yeah I know what you mean, Im just gonna get them and see how I like them. The tires aren't as expensive as most anyway so even if we didn't like them it wouldn't be as if we got like razr2's because those r 70 bucks a tire sooo im just gonna try them

I'd say Either Holeshot XCR's or HD's. I have firsthand with a set of front and real XCR's I used the same set for over 2 years and there still in use, extremly puncture resistant, Also check in to Titan Fast Trekkers, you can run them at 2 psi and not have to worry about rolling a tire off a rim, once again really hard to get a hole too
