it will give you top end but if you are woods racing i would not reccomend it...

if i go up one in the front and down two in the rear wat will i gain.

A lotmore top end. Most of the gain come from the front sprocket because there is less teeth so when you change it it makes a bigger differnce then the back. If you change the back try to at least go 3 because thats equal to changing 1 tooth in the front.
