I agree with 660 Rryder. That candy-apple red is sweet. It just seems like it really stands out and makes it look like you put a lot of time into it. White looks cool if it is a bright white. Like on a car or truck, it can look dingy unless it is kept really shiny. Actually, as long as you prep the frame good, and take your time, any fresh coat of paint will look awesome. I prefer the glossy look myself, some guys like the sem-gloss or flat colors. I think the glossy look really stands out

Hey, i gonna be painting my frame in a few months and need some ideas. I'm not sure what color i should do it. I was thinking of a white, orange, or yellow? Check out my pics and help me out with a color. Also should i paint my swing arm the same color as well. Thanks for any help

Thanks, yeah that will probably look pretty sweet with the candy apple frame! I just put the new hood on a month or so ago so im not gonna mess around with that but white goes goos with everything. I gonna look around and see if i can find some blue quads with red frames. Ill let you know what i end up doing. It shall look sick any color.
Posted by: Vunit
yeah that would look sick, i plan on keeping the plastics until they break so a sweet orange with the blue will certainly look sweet!
Posted by: Vunit
yeah that's true, im putting a coat of clear on it too, should i do the swing arm the same color. i plan on doing the lower arms and the upper like a black.
Posted by: Vunit
yeah i think so too, im gonna paint the sprocket orange too.
Posted by: Vunit
yeah that will look wicked nice! cant wait

Yeah, but money is an issue here, so i figured to just paint it, it will still look sweet.

Yeah that may look sweet, ill think about it!

Well i took sometime to think about this whole frame and i really like the sound of the metalic blue, that will fill out my whole quad and it will look sweet. The orange is just out there and nothing on my quad now is orange so it wouldnt really match anything, therefore the metalic blue will fit perfect on my quad. I think ill probably so that, thanks all for your help!

Yeah i just got some black Pro Taper bars and they look sweet, so i think the frame black would look sick cuz it would flow with the bars and blue and black look sick together. But i was thinking of a white too? cuz of my hood.

Nice Lakota!!! In my opinion i would go with the candy apple red off the yamaha race atv's. Then go with a maier red nose cowling. I think this would really look trick on your blue lakota. Being stock paint it shouldn't be too expensive and the cowling should be around 35 to 40 dollars. Hope i could help.
