These threads are always interesting.
You are going to get a million different opinions on what pipe to get and what pipe is the best.
I don't know of there being a "best" pipe, simply for the fact that they are all within a couple of HP of each other.

Some produce great power on top, some produce great power on the bottom, but suck on top, some are freaking hella loud, some are inexpensive with good gains, some are VERY expensive with liitle or no more gains etc.

I chose the pipe that gave me the best power, is quiet enough to ride in sound restricted areas, looks good, is well built, and inexpensive.

Chances are whatever you get, you will think it is the best unless you are an expert at jetting, and have had the opportunity to throw on a bunch of different pipes.

For me, the choice was clear. DR D. I also got mine before the Dirt Wheels pipe shoot-out came out.
I believe the HMF is also a good pipe, and if it comes with the option of a quiet insert, it too would probably be a good investment.

Stay away from GYTR. I was beating my friends full GYTR system with my DR D slip-on. He also had a K&N pro-flo set up to boot! He sold it, got the DR D, and now we are dead even.

Good luck on whatever you decide to get.

P.S.
I just added a pic of the DR D mounted to my steed.
You can view it along with the pic of my chromed extended Tucker swingarm.

take a look at the pro circuit ti-4 full system. its sick. the header hugs the motor realy well. i have the pro circuit full system on my pred and i love it. it also is loud but it has great power gains.

my buddy has the DMC ALIEN exhaust and its loud
I think HMF would be a good pipe and it all depends on how much
money you want to spend

Sparks Racing is the Best

I have The Ballance full system from HMF and this pipe rocks. The torque and power gained is sweet.

Welcome to the forums. The only pipe I have expierence with is the Yamaha GYTR on my brothers YFZ. The thing is we really dont have anything to compare it to, because he bought the quad with the pipe on it already. We do however ride with a stock YFZ. My bros has the pipe I mentioned, a k&n filter and rejetted. The power difference is pretty significant over the stock quad. He beats the stock off the lin and never looks back. He is also beating a Shee with toomeys, open lid, and rejet. Sorry I dont have any other info, but have you done a search on this topic yet? Here is a thread I found in Yamaha yfz pipe

I wouldn't trade anything for my Hmf!

The Pulsecharger sounds good but not for the price.

Man I have been searching myself. I cant get a good answer out of anyone. I have gone to other forums and still nothing. Do your own research and find one that puts the power were you want it. Every one here seems to Like Dr.D but it doesnt make the most power. It does for a slip on but there are better full systems out there. I am looking at the sparks, LTE, LRD, and the pulse charger. So far they seem to make power were I want it mid to top. GOOD LUCK

I have heard alot of good things about the pulse charger might be my choice.

An FMF full system won the YFZ pipe shootout in DirtWheels Magazine about six months ago.
