About the raptor.... i doubt a stock yfz could beat a rap with a pipe/filter/jets.... But a yfz with similar mods could do it

If you get the 450 do the cam mod, cheap power no parts just some time. Awesome difference.

stock for stock on any thing but pavemeant the the yzf will smoke a shee and ya there are awsome quads but they are meant to be riden hard with the mods u have listed for the yzf you would kill a shee

good choice on the yfz. i think that would be close. the yfz might take it but those banshees are fast when your drag racing!!! the yfz is not really better than the raptor for trails. the yfz is good for fast trail riding but it lacks comfort and reverse. the yfz was MADE FOR MX. literaly...

I am going to sell my raptor and by a 05 or 06 YFZ450.How are the YFZ450?can a piped headrs,filter,jetted,piston and cam YFZ450 beat a piped jetted filter banshee?How are the YFZ on the trails better then the rapotr?

Thanks guys,I am coming off of a raptor.I beat the banshee in a drag race with my raptor already. would the YFZ450 beat a raptor with pipe,headers,filter,jets?

The YFZs are great! they are really good on more open trails, but when u get into the bumpy stuff youl start wanting a softer seat.
