Why? What does the top speed really matter? You can gear a stock raptor to hit 85, or a big bore raptor to top out at 55.
With stock carbs and a mild buildyou are looking at hp in the low 60's, mid 60's for a more aggresive build.

Probably not, depends on the banshee build though. It could be a dog with 50hp, or a screamer with 70.

Like I said, it will depend almost entirely on the gearing. After 80mph you start having some serious wind issues and the bike needs to have fenders trimmed and suspension lowered along with good non-bias ply tires to keep it on the road. A wider stance is beneficial as well.
If you gear too high it will take you a mile to catch up even if you can outrun him, gear too low and he'll fly by you once you top out. What is his top speed and his gearing?

Stage 2 hotcam and I still cant hit the limiter in 5th. Or 3rd and 4th for that matter.

With stock gearing, which i think is 14-40? you will only go so fast even if you had 80 hp. Don't forget about the rev limiter

Yes it really does matter. I need to beat a 390 banshee can I do it with a 690 raptor?

yea right,A stock raptor does 75. pipe headers airfilter and jets with 14/40 gearing i am seeing 83mph for top speed.
