I modded my air box and put in a K&N filter, after that it didnt run right so I had to rejet and it runs great! IMO I wouldnt rejet unless you need to to make it run right.

i want to put a power kit in mine but i cant find a company that make them for my hp300

Most of the power kits are a ripoff, just get a few jets individually along with the exhaust and then remove the box lid and your in business. The individual jets are only a couple bucks, much cheaper than a 30 to 50 kit.

you can just take off the airbox lid and buy some jets from the dealer and save a bunch of money

it is if you don't re jet...but if you rejet you'll get some power outta it

opening up the airbox and adding a high flow airfilter with a Jet kit will increase power and throttle response, even with a stock exhaust.

if you take the airbox lid off and jet it correctly you will get more power, even with a stock exhaust, but i would be worried about other things then quads if i lived in isreal

well no offense those people are stupid and dont know what the hell their talking about. Take your airbox lid off, go to the dealer and get a bigger main jet, like 2-3 sizes bigger then whats stock, i dont know what size is stock, play around with mainjets untill it feels right, then do a plug check

Hey....... i was wondering if I put on my quad a power kit (jetting kit)... what effect will it have if i will keep the stock exhaust on...
will it harm anything, will it have an effect at all like increasing power and stuff??
Posted by: AirMan968
anyone?? please??
Posted by: AirMan968
yeah but wouldn't it wear out the engine??
Posted by: AirMan968
i see...... one more thing....BR>does he feel the effect on the power or just the throtle response?
Posted by: AirMan968
me too.... the only thing that is keeping me from doing so is that the shipping and handling will cost more than the kit itself
Posted by: AirMan968
I heard it's not good just taking off the airbox lid off....
???

Trust me there's nothing to worry about..... If you will come here you will see it's a beutiful country and it's not even close to what you see and hear on the media (dont beilive everything you see, especially the things they show on the cnn)... really
it's great here
and also i've heard americans that came here and said that israel is a safer place than the US....
thought you should know

lots of people told me that by putting power kits the quad reliability will be troubled

thanx

why not??

usually just a jet kit wont give you much of a power increase, it should give you a little.

i know a guy that i ride with that had that done with a stock 400ex. He like it and says it gives him more throtle response.
Posted by: yamaharaptor350
why would it do that. its just jets
Posted by: yamaharaptor350
i dont think so cause his is a 2001 and still runs perfictaly fine. Hes had the thing in there since 01 to so i dont think it will do anything.
