Dont waste your money, socialists run this state.Your suppose to register your quad but why bother when ya cant use it legally on the street or in the woods,Basically not only is there a land grab game going on in nj there is a money grabbing game going on too along w it.Back in 1991 Dep allowed you to register your quad, between sierra club an other environmental groups sqawked,DEP caved into there demands and out lawed the riding on public land but that didnt stop them from taking peoples money.I might not be correct on all of this so if Im wrong somebody let me know nicely but im pretty sure this is how its gone

was wondering if anyone heard anything about the orv park they were planning on building in monroe south jersey. I heard chatsworth was closing in about a years time. I'm just getting back into riding, after about ten years of sitting on my can i just started building a quad for my girl and am gonna pick up a 440 for myself. Am i just wasting money? is there any place to ride legally in this state?

They say the DEP is responsible for the hold up in building an orv park in south jersey. I didn't know if there was any truth to that. I can't see how they can say you must register and insure your quad for it to be legally ridden in the state and then say it is illegal to ride on state land.I thought state owned land belonged to the people of the state. I stumbled on a site for a privately owned race track which is being built in millville. This was supposedly blessed and endorsed by the governer. membership to the track costs in the thousands, yes this is correct.$5,000 initiation and $2,000 yearly membership.Has any group or organization tried fighting the state on this matter. Regardless of the DEP i just can't see it being legal for the state to take money to allow people to use their atv's. Then deny them the right to use them.
