A heads up to Long Islanders, the Cops/Dec/Park Police will be conducting raids this weekend (Memorial Day). The are issuing zero tolerance if you get caught (you will get impounded) Please note the fines have increased dramatically.

I have a neighbor in the DEC and he said as long as you were ridding on your property and the neighbors did not complain, you should have no problem....hit the streets and your screwed. They have had ZERO tolerance in the Center Moriches, Manorville, East Port area's. A he told me they will be hitting all the usual and not so usual spots all summer. The cops/dec/sheffifs have a new fleet of bikes and quads to ride and are trying to hit an impound quota in the Pine Barrens. If ya didn't know they passed new fines in excess of $2500.00 first offense.

What type of quads are these cops running. I'm not saying run from them, but 2500 bucks!!! What the heck to they think some ones gonna do. Oh well it's only illegal is you get caught I guess.
