Hello everyone, I just bought a 2000 Banshee last month and just received my red sticker. Which constitutes September 15-May 15th. Is this enforced at Pismo ? Or can I ride there in June,July, and August? Let me know what the scoop is on Pismo and Red Stickers. 2000 Banshee 1998 300EX Quadfreak Forever

Fireblade 74, In a nut shell if you buy a 2000 quad and it is a 2 stroke you will be issued a red sticker that allows you to ride your quad in certain areas of California at certain times of the year. Generally speaking 8 months out of the year. There are some areas like "Stonyford National Forest" in Northern California where they have 200,000 acres where you can ride year round. Check out the 2 Stroke riding Schedule at this website: www.calohv.ca.gov/greensticker/vol-15/ 2strokeschedule.htm Quadfreak forever. Bansheeman '98 300ex 2000 Banshee

Rudedog, Very good post. They just usually ask me if my truck is 4wd and how many quads I have and then I just drive on in. I'll let you know when I go down there this Spring. Charles Artoux A.K.A.Quadfreak

I go there pretty frequent and I really haven't seen anything on this yet. I would think that the rangers probably watch for certain colors of ATV's or bikes that were Mfgr'd in 2000. If spotted they probably try to get closer to see the sticker color and if red cite you. Nobody in our Atv group has a red sticker bike/ATV so we haven't dealt with this issue yet. I don't know if the rangers in the guard shack check sticker colors when you check in. They usually just ask me how many ATV's/Bikes I have when I check in. Could be because I have an enclosed trailer and they can't see/count them?? Rude Dog

These stickers your talking about, are they for allowing you to ride in certain areas with certain color stickers? Are year 2000 model bikes allowed to ride where older bikes are allowed?
