Do you want to be protected from their own stupidity? That's what
the people who sue ATV manufacturers and petition the Government
to penalize/ban/restrict ATV design and activities want. It isn't too hard
to spot the stupid ones; no helmets, underage children sitting in their
laps, allowing their under-16 kids riding their ATVs, riding off the
designated trails, etc. Half the population is below average intelligence
(look up "average"), but the really stupid ones (probably 10%) really
hurt the rest of us in terms of prices (legal fees on our products) and
riding area restrictions. End of rant.

mykool;
I'm a displaced Yanjee who came down here to work on the Space Program as an Aerospace Engineer. So, don't just judge people from where they live. I know how to start sentences with a capital letter and to spell correctly.
I just don't care for the Governent protecting me from myself. 'Course, maybe the stupid people need that, which I kinda think you may be advocating. Maybe God will judge stupid people more leniently, I don't know, but I sure don't.

Mykool;
There are lots of things we agree on; Honda's are *great* (although they don't make one just like I want just yet), America is a *great"place (we are all working and are too busy to do the serious fighting like in the middle east, where they don't have jobs), the best medical care in the world (I'm getting it now), etc. The list is just too long to post. Bottom line, we might have a few differences, but they are really minor in the grand scheme of things. It's just that the damn lawyers....oh, never mind.

Going by your user id, I'd say you weren't born yet when he played there. Had a full (I think) scholarship to Ohio State. Guy was a real brute. But, two different times at track meets, I heard him spell his name wrong.

Perhaps the persons flaming you have a strong resemblance or affiliation to the rocks you are defaming. Consider using "as a box of hammers" and see if you get a different reaction.

Umm Unless the geographical situation has changed since I was in the third or fourth grades Oregon isn't part of "bama (sic)". Course I could be wrong since it's been over half a century.

Can't argue with that, but evertime I refer to that dumb as a rock general public on this site I get flamed.

Then I'd probably get double flamed, the reference to general public ignorance and blind patriotism because the US no longer makes hammers.

On this forum that's a somewhat unfortunate common definition; whatever is contrary to consideration for others not of a like mind is ATV usage.
