The choice between a quad and a dirtbike is entirely up to you. Just sit down and think about what you would be happier with down the road. If you do get a quad, the 700R would be a great choice for a trail machine.

If you do get a dirtbike, I would recommend the WR250f out of the bikes you listed for strictly trail riding. The KLR300 and TT-R 250 would get you around just find, but they are outdated and I personally wouldn't want to spend the money on them.

I'm lookin for a dirt bike to ride in my trails and feilds, and to just ride around, im about 260, 5,7. Ive never riden a dirtbike, but ive been riding atv's for about 8 years, but. Ok heres my questions... Will a dirt bike be as much fun as an atv in the trails, or should i get a Raptor 700R instead? And would a 250 beable to pull me around ok, and have a lot of power? I want a dirtbike i put around in the hilly trails on and have to be cluthing all the time. And i dont want a 2 stroke. And i wanan try not to spend more than 5 thousand. So out of these dirtbikes whats the most powerful, and best on trails... KLX 300R($4,949),KX250F($5,899), CRF250F($6,399), YZ250F($5,999), TT-R 250($4,499), WR250F($6,099). Is the KLX 300R as good as the 250's? Because its got a good price, and i heard its a real good trail machine, but i donno about its power. I dont really know much about Dirt bikes.

Please answer any guestions you can, Thanks!
