most usb hookups on cameras are ONLY for still picture transfer.

Uses miniDVD videocassette tapes for video, SD memory card for stills

I am reading through some info on your camera online now........the first thing I read said stills only on the SD......I just found something that says "short video clips"........still trying to find the correct info for you.

OK....do you have the manual with you for the camera?........if so go to page 101.......if not ...do you want the manual in PDF?

Why not try getting a Fire Wire card for your pc? That may be the cheapest thing to do.

Here are a few.

i just got a Vio Sport Adventure 3 helmet camera for xmas and i cant figure out how to record to my memory card, i can only record to the MiniDv cassete. (my comp doesnt have a fire wire hook up so i cant download the cassete images to my comp which was the hole point of getting a helmet cam) so is there any way to get it to record to my memory card or will it only record to my cassete.

BTW my video camera is a Canon ZR85.

oh so i wont be able to take videos on the memory card, only the cassete. cuz i can take videos on the memory card when the helmet cam isnt attatched.

i got the manual, i can take video clips on my memory card for as long as i want (until the card is full). i cant figure out how to get my helmet camera to record to my video cameras memory card, it will only record to teh mini DV.

thanx for the help BTW

i ordered mine from a website. there are tons of different helmet cameras, you have to find one you like and can usually get them off the internet, you just need a credit card.
