Did my 4 year 10 years ago and finished my Master or Science 1.5 years ago. M.S. cost me $3600 the B.S. cost the parents but I still held down a regular job back then.
I did my M.S. at the same time I decided to enter the world of Father Hood while also being full time employeed.

is that sort of getting a degree to become a vet, and then your horse gets a broken leg so you shoot it...and it isnt getting any better so you shoot it again?

Been out almost as long as MWQ (stress almost). But it was different back then. We had to walk 10 miles to class, up hill...both ways...in the snow. Go figure, got an associates in electronics and never got a job in that field. Nice thing though, if I get mad and shoot the TV, at least I can tell if it's repairable. If I'm not sure, I'll shoot it twice.

i have been in school for 3 years.
Posted by: Raptorchic22
i will be done in May, hopefully. right now i am taking 12 hours which is considered a full time student, plus i have a full time job on top of that. so i stay pretty busy when school is here, but when summer is here i take a break and go riding as much as i can.
it just sucks, i don't get to do as much anymore with school and homework and trying to spend time to myself.

Uncle Sugar paid for mine too.

I never went to college. Hell I got kicked out of high school and had to get my GED!! Funny thing is though, I make more money than a lot of people I know who did go to college. Figure that one out. If I did go to college I would go all out and go to med or law school. There was some post-secondary education though, I don't want to mis-lead or have anyone think it's not worth it. I had to go to 4 years of night school at a tech plus 8000 hours of on the job training to get my license (Electrician's license). They're changing it to 5 yrs school and 10,000 hours OTJ training. And the fail rate for the test you take with the state after school and all your hours is 80%. Meaning that 80% of the people taking the test for the first time fail it. Then when you get your license you have to take 15 hours of continuing education every 3 years to keep up with code changes.
