Anything can be made to work if you have the skills MWQ mentioned, but it just won't be easily thrown in if that is what your thinking.

I dont think too many people have put a yamaha 175 engine in a kdx frame but dont let that stop you. do you or some one you know have any welding/fabrication skills? If not dont even bother. If you do have that skill availabe, give it a try. Pull the kawasaki engine and see if the yamaha physically fits. The hardest part I would think would be fitting a pipe to the new engine.

i got a kawasaki 200 a while back but it needs a cylinder, head, reed, i got a carb but in not sure if it will work, it also needs a filter, pipe, and silencer. and it might need other things to. plus the motor needs completely rebuilt. so i figured it isnt worth it. but i got a yamaha 175 motor that i think runs but i need to kno if it will all fit without any major mods. so i want to kno if anyone has ever done this and if it would work.
