All the modern oils can be mixed.
I have posted a ton of different references on oils. There is lots of info out there for those who wish to educate themselves.

Now , its ok it mix. The old ester based oils used to swell rubber o rings, and thats why that story got started. Take a look on the shelves in the autoparts store...youll see lots of 'blended' oils...this is a mix of synthetic and dino oils.

I was just wondering. I have herd lots of good things and lots of bad things about synthetic oil. Is there truth to the story I got about once you use synthetic oil you can never go back because you can't mix synthetic and non synthetic oil? Input please!

there si no problem mixing oils. The only draw back to them that I have found is that in older machines the synthetic oil will leak past worn seals that conventional oil will not leak past. Good example was putting synthetic oil in my original 69 minitrail and having it leak out of the kick starter seal. I put conventional oil in it and it doesnt leak now.
