Welcome to the Lounge...

Well, aside from a few oddball races here and there, Banshee riders were only champs in the dunes and on the dragstrip...as long as there wasn't much turning invoved, you were OK on a Banshee....

We took 2 of 3 from ya. I keep hearing about how S.D has this bad record for being in first in their division. I hope they can keep it together and make a run at the playoffs, maybe we will meet again there. The Cards just keep it rolling even with 4 of 8 starters on the DL.hr>
Yeah, I can't get it....we're hanging in by our fingertips right now.... Yeah, .500 record and in first place is laughable. Good thing we got the best of you in May when we were on a roll...LOL. We'll see if we can keep it together.

So when they commentators discuss a batter's great wrist action, are they implying that those were the ones that had the fewest dates growing up? BR>

LOL, I guess so, cuz the guys with good wrist action slap hit for singles, the guys with the hip action hit homeruns.hr>
LMAO! From now on when I hear a commentator talk about wrist action I'm gonna crack up!hr>
(Play-by-play guy) Now batting, John Smith....you know, John is a consistant .320 hitter who's mastered the slap hit all over the field...not much in the power catagory but because of his great wrist action, can place the ball anywhere in the park....
(Color Commentator) Yeah, John contributes his quick wrists to his lack of dates when he was younger, which left him more time to "polish" his technique....BR>

I never could pitch...only did it in mop up or blowout situations. I was 1st base, outfield and catcher, but my forte' was hitting....used to train with a scout for the Astros and on occasion, Tony Gwynn would come by and hang out...that was so cool. I ended up quitting baseball because of the politics in high school, it was in my favor, but I questioned if I got special treatment, what happens when the next hot shot comes in and replaces me because his daddy had money.....I ran into my trainer 2 years later and he gave me an earfull telling me he had already told the Astros to keep an eye out for me.....Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20...
TPR

I look and think, man even if I was a journeyman utility player that could hit about .270 I'd be rollin!!! Yeah it would have been great, but I can live with my decision.
There were several reasons this guy was pi$$ed at me, the first was that at each level I played at, I increased my average till I quit as a senior with a B.A. of .402 I never hit below .340....I had a goalie's mentality on the field and would air myself out and make plays even I couldn't fathom and I had sprinter's speed from all the years of soccer...I was usually at 3rd base after 3-4 pitches after a single. Heck I even used a wood bat in a sea of aluminum and was able to manage a 435' shot as a sophomore.....(As Nepoleon Dynamite would say...IDIOT!!!)
TPR
Posted by: TPR
I had power, but was a line drive hitter. Our field had a 400' center field and the fence was about 20' tall, I used to nail that all day long. Gwynn taught me how to spray the ball around all fields, so 1/2 of my homers were to Left Center (I bat lefty) My big shot was a 1st pitch fastball in an All Star Game and the coach, whom I hated, told me to take.....I never give a pitcher a strike, so long as the first pitch is close, I'm swinging. Needless to say I gave him the look as I rounded the bases.
The best part was when we got to the dugout. He tried to yell at me for swinging away...I just laughed. Next time up, 1st pitch single (Told to take again LOL) then, without the sign, stole 2nd and 3rd on consecutive pitches. So now we're on 3rd and he's giving me an earfull from the coach's box and asks what, you gonna steal home too?? The pitcher hears this and puts one in the dirt and I come home....LOL Next inning, I got pulled.....LOL At that point all the parents about lost their mind.
Ahhh youth sports...
TPR
Posted by: TPR
Yeah, well the coach wasn't someone people respected...this was All Stars and he added his son to the team since he wasn't voted in and played every inning!!! He!! my dad had no problem benching me if there was someone better, but this kid was horrible....he pitched the opener and got the hook in the 1st inning, we rallied and won, but he ended up playing 1st base while me and 2 others who were much better sat. I was asked to DH till my little "communication" problem for which I was benched...causing 2 other player's fathers to come into the dougout (Their sons were the other 1st basemen) and let the coach have it (In my defence no less) since his son was such a miserable player...Needless to say we had to win the last game and he puts his son in as a closer with a 1 run game....and we lost!!!! This kid couldn't break a wet paper bag with the lack of velocity he had...LOL Suffice it to say he was banned from coaching there ever again.

I have been a little neglagent in posting in the lounge. Now is as good time as any.
Honda, hmmm. Well, I would expect some noticeable upgrades to the 450r, probably e-start and new rear suspension geometry, I'd also bet on some Limited Edition models since they did do the survey that was advertised on here a while back. Perhaps they listened to old TPR and are actually going to offer L.E.'s with upgrades other than just new colors/graphics.
I hear the side by side may be absent, so Yami, Poli and Arctic will be happy, but I still have a good feeling on the 650 sport comming out though I would be surprised to see Honda nail Yamaha with somthing worlds better than the new 700 Rappy.
We'll all be talking about it tomorrow, that's for sure.

My family runs an atv suspension development company. That given, they are in the same boat as most everyone else (We hear things, but don't get any concrete info till the factories release it, and honestly, I hear things that others hear, and then I combine that with research from the net and that's where common sense helps make the detirmination as to what is BS and what has possibility.
Honda big bore sport to be announced before next years dealer meeting. Possibly as a mid year model along side their Rhino fighter...

Hey everybody, man the zone is bogged down recently...Dumass, I wish we had Antonio Gates yesterday, I doubt we'd have been in that situation. Hate to lose one, but I think if the defense comes together, the offence should score some points.
Bonds, I really have no respect for the man other than his abiltiy to hit a baseball, all his roid use and attitude though leave me little use for the man. I say take a first pitch slider, and put it in on the knees and keep it there.
MWQ I think they have increased the travel to 3/4" now...LOL I'll look into it. I do know that now I can order and usually have the parts to the client in about 2 days. That pleases me, and they have upgraded all the fasteners and many other components on it as well. Heck, Patriot, the North American Distributor is going to release a factory made custom chopper (Not a Yamoto) next year.

I wasn't really saying put it at his knees, more less into his knees, let's see how well the surgeries went. I'm never for headhunting, but the lower body is another story....unless Bonds had a friggin pad covering that too.....Be a man. What's next, hockey goalkeeper pads??? Full faced helmets??

I love my LTE's pn my 400ex. I need to go by our shop, our mad scientist engine builder is hitting 48-49 HP at the rear wheels on a stock bore motor.
High comp piston, custom CNC'd head, FCR carb (I think), and his own hand made exhaust using a Z-400.
TPR

Should be a bolt on kit pretty soon. I think the head will simply replace the OEM with the proper cams etc. The idea is to keep the price down while allowing current z owners to keep up with the 450's and not having to bore the jug.

Garrett, you are a nice kid, and you do have some post-ho skillz, but there is one thing that I am that you can't be....The Champ!!!
It is somthing not to be taken lightly,
You have to be spectacular to reach such a lofty goal,
As soon as you think you have it, there are 5 lined up to take it,
And as I have said before, to be a true champion, you have to have all that it takes to be good, great and heroic, in order to understand what the true meaning of "Champ" is..
Never give up trying for your day will come.....but as long as I am around...It won't be soon.BR>
TPR
Posted by: TPR
And now, a word from The Champ...
Hey kids, how are you all doing out there. TPR here to tell ya that the best path to greatness lies in a young man's imagination.
You see, as a young man, you, like other young men believe that you are capable of anything and everything. That's a good trait, gives someone a goal to shoot for. As we all know, life without goals is like a quad without wheels. You can sound real cool, loud, subdued and even powerful, but without wheels....you go nowhere.
As you begin to grow into your new found confidence, you will begin to realize that not all of those lofty goals are easily attainable, if at all reachable. What seperates Champions from contenders is the ability to look those that may stand in our way right in the eye and let them know that they will not be the one that will stand in the way of your glory....
Sometimes, you'll catch them off guard, or diminished in skill, and you will be able to usurp them and continue on your path. Othertimes, an intense battle will ensue in which you earn or cheat your way to a hard fought victory. Then there are occasions like this in which you run up on one that is in his prime...skills razor sharp and an ability that has yet to be matched or duplicated.
It's not always about numbers (Though you guys do impress in that area) but more on style, finesse and skill. Sheer numbers are great, but again it's the all show, no go wheels off the quad scenario that will begin to bog you down.
Remember this, Dan Marino carries most all of the NFL passing records...but is he a Champion??? Nope, and he never will be. A great player and person, but no ring.... Peyton Manning is in the same boat and if he's not careful? He could be next. It's about the bottom line, the complete package, and I am it.
This is not meant to incite a volitle exchange of which I would be a clear cut victor, but as a means of showing you up and commers what it takes to be a Champion on a whole nother level.....
Always Believe....

Me too, and what can I do, the best I can do is what I do. Take time to go get him and have him hang with us for a few hours. Its hard because he goes to his granny's to see his dad on the weekends, but his dad pretty much wants nothing to do with him, but his granny does, so he stays with her and if his dad comes over to see him, he does. Usually he does not, from what I have been told. He has a father figure in my bro-in-law, and he may have even adopted him, but its just not the same. He is neglected.
Man that's weak, there are a lot worse things in the world than to have a special needs child, and his parent's got off easy in the grand scheme of things. They have a child that indeed needs more attention and care, but there are many Down's kids that end up being more productive that some able minded people out there.

I leave the bar in Dumass' hands for a little bit and now scooter is becoming Norm, and Dumass has a houka.....LMAO.

There have been some changes to the Bar and Grill.
In light of my decreased ability to maintain Champ's on a daily basis, I have decided to franchise out the entity and go corporate.
As of today, this franchise has changed it's name from Champ's Bar and Grill to the more memorable The Dumass Lounge....
Dumass will operate it in my absense while I still will partake in it's patronage. I do have the right at any time to take over day to day operations though with my increased workload, that will probably not come to fruition.
Sincerely

Good afternoon everyone....looks like the place is being well kept....except the part where Scooter decided to lie under the beer tap itself...small healthcode violation, but big on the fun factor....
Just to make your lives easier, and more entertaining, I am having a penalty box created where if someone like Fred shows up, the new bouncer over there, his name is Tank, he grabs the offending person, takes them into the penalty box and smacks them around for 2 minutes. After that, they can stay, or leave. If they stay, and cause a problem again, it's 5 minutes in the box, then they are ejected from the premises. Should be loads of fun...BR>

Hey everybody, the boss is here.....just doing a routine inspection, nothing to worry about. (Takes out white glove and wipes it across the bar.....I now have a look of disgust on my face...sgust
WHAT IN THE HE!! IS THIS!?!?!?!
THIS, THIS, FUNK!!! I LEAVE HERE AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS????
DUMASS, GET OVER HERE!!!
THE NEXT TIME I COME IN I EXPECT TO SEE TWICE AS MUCH FUNK ON THE BAR THAN WHAT IS HERE NOW!!! GOT IT!!!
AND YOU CALL THIS AN ACCEPTABLE AMOUNT OF STRIPPER GLITTER???? I DIDN'T GET PERMITS FOR STRIPPER POLES AND BUY 100 POUNDS OF HIGH GRADE STRIPPER GLITTER FOR YOU TO SKIMP!!! I WANT THESE GIRLS TO SPARKLE LIKE THE STARS AT NIGHT!!!
AND SOMEONE BETTER HAVE CLEANED UP THE PENALTY BOX, BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE THE ONLY EXCUSE FOR THE LACK OF BLOOD AND URINE THAT I SEE IN THERE. I WANT TO SEE THIS PLACE OPERATING AT FULL CAPACITY....
MORE BOOZE, CHICKS IN GLITTER AND DAMMIT TANK, MORE DRUNKS SMACKED AROUND!!!!
Carry on!

Oh, and for those of you that have their wives question where you have been or what you have been doing, I have hired Armand....the men's rest room attendant. You get too much glitter or stripper perfume on yourself? He has the means to get you glitter and perfume free. He is a magician when it comes to being stealth in what you do with your "Guy Time"
Other services....
locker rental. Keep extra clothes at the bar to wear inside. Change back to your normal "clean" clothes to go home...
Vomit removal and breath sterilization.....no explanation necessary...
Phone number removal. Get drunk and some chick writes her number on your hand? You will be inspected before leaving by Tank so there is no embarassing moment of "Who is Rhonda???"
Disguised name on bank statements....Whenever you charge somthing to your card, the bill reads "Men's Health and Self Improvement Center.
Call forwarding and answering service. Tell her that you have added a call answering service. All calls are then routed to the service, and a memo is given to you so that you can go to the "Quiet Room" to make a call, again avoiding bar detection.

Dumass Lounge inspection memo 1A-62....
Appropriate jukebox selections: Upon inspection of the jukebox, I have found several violations that only MrDumass could have done because he is the only one with keys to the jukebox....
From now on, there will be no more Milli Vanilli, Culture Club, Cher, Barry Manilow, Celiene Dion, Madonna, Judy Garland, Barbara Streisand, John Tesh, or any showtune of any type. Such violations will result in dumass getting a 15 minute penalty with Tank.

We had a local bar that had dollar pitcher nights every Tuesday. Your pitcher was your mug and it was in your hand at all times or someone would snake it. My buddy even made teathers that would velcro on the handle incase someone tried to snag it. Yoink...nope buddy, that pitcher is mine. The bartenders thought it was pretty funny.
I was also very much useless on Wednesdays....BR>

Well, there is going to be a bit of remodeling dust around here. While in Vegas, I seen the Forum Shops at Casears Palace and was digging on the domed ceiling that made it look like outside, and would go from daytime to night time. Really messed up your sense of time while there.
Gonna do the same thing in the bar....simply for my amusement.
There is a few more rules as well......from midnight on, we will gradually begin to lower the lights till closing where it will be almost dark. That will help the drunks and the uglies get lucky. We'll also be handing out bags of goodies, rubbers, lotions etc for use with your nightcap. The bonus is that if she is ugly and you sober up too fast, the bag will have a picture of Pamela Anderson's face on it. Just slip the bag over her head and viola!!! You're nailing Pam Anderson!!
If you happen to go home alone, just take out the lotion, cut a hole in the Pam Bag's mouth, slip your hand in the bag and viola!!! Well, you get the picture. img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Ok boys, I decided to make things easy for ya....This here is the Glittifier 200. Will unload a full compliment of stripper glitter on a shapely figure at 50 feet. If a girl has less than the requisite amount of glitter, take this sucker and make things right!!
I have some friends here that have a band named Hot Rod Lincoln. They of course do that song as well as a bunch of original rocabilly tunes. They are good friends with Brians Setzer and Lee Rocker (Lee Produced their first CD) They have another cool track called "Hot Rod Heart" I think you can find their stuff on Amazon too,

As of today, the services of all these ladies is no longer needed. You are all excused to leave, your checks are waiting and feel free to retain all your tips.
Ok guys....calm down!!!
Ok, now that they are gone, here's the deal. I struck an agreement from here on out, the Dumass lounge will feature....."The Girls of Scores!!!"
That's right fellas, the level of talent was taken to a whole new threshold. Every spinner will be given an allowance of $500 in "Scores Dollars" in addition, we have now built our version of the "Champagne Room" called "The Busch Room." In there will be private booths where whatever happens there, stays there....So enjoy my friends, and BRW, someone load up the glitter cannon....these ladies need to be introduced properly......Diamond, Candy, Jasmine, Paris, Aphrodite, Porsche, and for those that like their ladies a little darker.....Merlot!!!

If it works out and you do a good job, I'll take a look at giving you an increase. If you fail however, you will end up cleaning up after the monkey and earn your way back to table wipe....

Hello everyone, I decided to drop by and let you all know there are going to be changes around here. First, if someone is not drinking enough, they will be thrown out. Next, we have hired a 5 star chef to create the best wings, potato skins and nachos ever! Finally, I have to take the stage and stripper pole down.....
So we can take down the back wall, make the room twice as large so we can add 2 stripper poles, a larger stage, a couple of go-go cages and the worlds first built in oil wrestling ring!!! There also will be a jacuzzi in the new VIP area which will be served by the beautiful Tatiana, and Ambrosia exclusively. The VIP area will have a closer view of all festivities as well....
That's the tip of the iceberg as I purchase all property around here and have gotten clearance to open a hotel and casino as well, so the Dumass Lounge, will now be the Dumass Hotel & Casino!! Featuring the Dumass Lounge.
Enjoy!

From the offices of Phantom Inc.
Document 112763….pursuant to PSA 5772-12 Re: Behavioral variances Motox26 exhibits during the Halloween season.
It has been brought to the attention to the staff and ownership of The Dumass Hotel and Casino that during the Halloween season, one of our most valued patrons, Motox26 seems to make a transition of sorts and becomes a completely different person from the other 11 months out of the year.
Motox26, AKA ;“Owner of Monkey”, “Father of Poo Thrower”, “Little Punk”, and his native American alias “SSBD”, or “Sleeps in Sticky Bag with Dumass”, is generally a docile creature, most approachable and quite the affable character.
However, caution must be used between the days of 10-1-2006 and 11-1-2006 for something strange comes over this normally innocuous person.
It will not be uncommon to see M26 climbing up various architectural structures in the casino as well as the pool area. He also will shout unusual things like “I must when the lotto!!” out to passers by.
Then there are the costumes…..M26 tends to favor lycra for whatever reason. Typical on a given day he will be found wandering the casino wearing a pink thong, ballerina tu tu, fishnets and a Victoria&39;s Secret bra stuffed with water balloons filled with chocolate pudding. Warning: At times he will pop the balloons and attempt to squirt you with the pudding. Do not run!! He will then follow you and spend the rest of the day knocking on your door pretending to be a Girl Scout that wants to give you her “cookie”. Your best bet is to wait till tomorrow if this happens.
As always there are unexpected incidents as well, that we can only anticipate and react to. At this time, Dumass Hotel and Casino and it&39;s parent company Phantom Incorporated, are not legally responsible for the actions of Motox 26.
Sincerely,
TPR
CEO Phantom Inc.

TPR,
I see why you are still the reigning champ. As I just happened to be browsing around the Yamaha forum at the time of your resurrecting the deceased. Only you would have the boulders to pull that off. The other three horsemen thought was having a nervous break down due to what happening with the departed posts. As they saw shoulders shuddering, tears streaming and three ribs snapping. I don't remember laughing that hard in a long time. At least I am enlightened enough to understand the reasoning for what you did. I thank you for bringing me that bit of hilarity.

Sure, any info is apprecitated. I have some thinking to do, and alot of questions as to how it would effect my family. I cant realy say which branch I would join, I just dont know exactly what I would like to do. I need to research quite a bit more, but the Air Force sounds cool, so does the Army.
I spoke to my Neph. He said the best thing for you to do would to talk to a recruiter in you area since he's not from your area he doesn't know what military bases are at your local. He seems to think the cut-off was either 36 or 38.

when I was a youngster I tried the ole spit in the palms routing once. Oh sure my average went up, but I still got the occasional Swiiiing & a Miss and struck out. Well always one to better myself I started improving on my technique. Good thing I did, My career was at an all time high. Granted I was no Hall of Famer but I was on top of my game Then I hit the best home run of my life. Thats when I figured I would give up the sport, go out on a high note if you will. I gotta say looking back on the "Glory Days" sure does put a smile across my face.

your talkin smack about minorleague ball dear God.
I boycotted all proffesional sports except motorcycles and quads and horses many years ago. It just pisses me off that these bitches whine about makin a few hundred K a year and whine about makes a few million a year and rape the fans. Your general Fan of the athletics is gonna be some blue collar dude. ticket prices are outgragous... When i was a lil poor white trash kid commin out the trailer we would got marineers games and tickets was a dollar I remeber goin to seahawk games for a couple bucks aswell. sonics the same. now you look at the prices these days and allotta people have to work a full day just to get into the game. THATS BULLSH!T if ya ask me. Greed will destroy all. Capitolism is the best system around. but it also can lick ass at times.
gotta razz ya som'times. But I'm right there with ya on the whole sports issue. Like the Sac Kings basketball. If we don't get a new stadium we'll leave Sac. Fock you good bye kings!!!
spoiled bastads. Most sportsmen make the claim they do it for the love of the sport, cut their pay and see what happens.

That is definately one of the choices. My nephew works at a cycle center and can get me an aftermarket exhaust at cost +10%. He heard that LeoVinci's were supposed to be Sh!t hot. But it's lookin' more like Yoshimura to me.
