lol. I better get a plow. It's hard enough to lift some of these quads without a plow.
I don't know how some people can leave their quads out all the time. One of the neighbors leaves his quad out all the time. Sooner or later, he might be sorry.

I doubt that he would listen. There are at least 9 quads in a 1/4 mile and he's the only person that leaves his quad out. Well, sometimes another guy leaves two Rincons out for a night.
Some of the neighbors are really nosey so they see everything. Kinda good and bad. Everyone knows everyone so it's easy to tell who shouldn't be doing what.
I still wouldn't leave my quad out.

New guy in my neighborhood got a new outlander, left it under his deck...(two floors high) and someone came in a truck, tried to lift it into the truck, BUT he had a snowplow on the front, so It didnt go into the truck. The guys left it in the middle of the road and some neighbors took it into their garage.
He has it back, and he had to make space in the shedI know about this, because I was on the lakes, and he stopped me and asked if I knew anything about his quad being stolen or if I had seen it, and I told him I would report it if i did see it.
Later that day, he stops me again, and told me how someone had it and returned it. Well, that guy was L-U-C-K-Y...LUCKY!!! There have been a bunch of snowmobiles stolen on his street before that.
So, this was a story to show how important it is to have a snowplow on your quadBR>
This turned out to be a happy story.....if only every one was.

what sucks though is that it was around 11 o'clock at night, so nobody got the plates on the truck.

I usually leave my quad out (usually chained) but after the last ride I left it on the trailer, Well last night I was in and out of the house grillin and someone that walked out to there car said that they saw someone over there by the trailer! I assured her that there was noone out there that it was prolly just a opposium or something like that. Just in case I jumped on the Polaris and hauled out through all the trees and bushes shining the lights. I never found anyone but I left the Polaris in the front yard where I could see it and Hooked the truck up to the trailer and locked the gate so I knew that noone could get the BigBear. There hasnt been an ATV stolen on our road in about 16 years (the last and only one was my parents, but they got it back and still have it) but that doesnt mean that there isnt someone out there that is willing to try it again. Also the theft rate in my neigboerhood is basically Zero, that Quad was the first and last thing that has ever been stolen.

Ya know it is kinda funny, I leave my car in the driveway unlocked with the keys in it, but my wheeler gets garage space.

im one of the people who leaves their quad out all the time... it hasnt see shelter in 7 months now, even in the winter. as for being stolen... our neighborhood is real small, we have a cop that lives down the road, that and if anyone goes within 100 ft of our house, the 3 dogs let us know. i have yet to be able to sneak into my own home without the dogs barking. main reason i leave it out is just cuz our area has a crime rate of NOTHING...i think there was one motorcycle stolen about 15 yrs ago...

The street I live, although in a residential neighborhood, has a lot of traffic as people use it as a short-cut thru town. The town police station is also on my street, about a mile down. 2 years ago I'm washing down both quads in the front yard, and a cop pulls up. He tells me to think about washing these in my back yard where no one can see them from the street. He explains that you don't want to be advertising what you have to everyone driving down this street, and therefore give some one an idea about stealing your quads. Actually pretty good advice. I've washed them in back yard ever since
