Posted by: roscoe69

about 79 cents cdn per litre and there are about 4 litres to the us gal $3.16 cdn

Posted by: maddog56

Really RD? Here it has dropped. It used to be 10 cents difference b/w the grades since I can remember, but for the first time its down to 7-8 cents difference.

Regular is hovering right under 2.00 a gallon here in MI, has been for 2 weeks.

Just filled up this weekend at 2.08 a gallon for regular 87. The real shocker is the grade price differential. I've now seen it 5 cents between. Reg 2.08, mid 2.13, prem 2.18. I've never, ever seen it anything but .10 cents between grades in my life, all of the sudden they drop it to 7 cents and now 5?

The holidays are over and the gas prices are climbing like a squirrel up a tree. 87 octane has gone up 30 cents since the new year. 87 octane is now at $1.98 here.

How much is gas where you are? Has it gone up much since the holidays?

MWQ, I just paid $2.04 a gallon for diesel at Flyin "J" in Ripon. They are "usually" the cheapest around. I am a firm believer you get what you pay for. I bought cheap diesel from the before mentioned station. I saw my mileage drop as much as 4 mpgWith Flying "J" I'm getting just over 15 mpg around town

RD, The price for reg at 76 westley jumped to 1.85, 0.10c between grades, could not see the diesel price from freeway. The Joes Travel Plaza there had reg. 1.88 diesel 2.02. westley used to be the high price leader in the area until the JTP got built approx 2 yrs ago, now 3 stations compete to be lowest, JTP, Beacon, and now the 76 station. Just for the record, if you were interested that 100 octane 76 gas, it is not available in westley. I have to go to the patterson 76, on hiway 33. I have never had a huge mpg drop because of different fuels, dont own a diesel either.

That area along I-5 in Westley and Patterson have grown

My experience is, when we use AM/PM gas in our cars, the fuel mileage stinks. We usually get Chevron fuel. For some reason, our cars/trucks seem to run betterBest diesel mileage I ever got was from Chevronbut around here, Chevron doesn't sell diesel

LP gas is a whole other story on costLocal Shell charges 2.29 a gallonFlyin "J" is $1.69 a gallon

Cant remember the last time I put am pm gas in anything. As for car's, I usually go with beacon/valero, 76 or shell. In the bikes I am real picky, OK obsessed. 76 from that station in patterson ONLY. Yes i have a problem.

I'd say you have a problemIf you want that high octane stuff, you are kinda married to Union 76 in these parts of the woodsBR>
I know I haven't bought am/pm gas in over 5 years myselfWife does every great once in awhile (she likes their coffee) and I'm all over her for itBuying gas that is

LOLt's the equivalent to 7-11 with fuel pumps. They have the lowest prices on fuel. But, I think, it's not as good as Chevron (It's Amoco back east), Shell or Exxon.

I forget who actually owns them'm pretty sure it's a foreign company though. And, if I remember correctly, it has like 8-10% ethynol [sp]in the mixture.

its $1.85 and climbing again and thats for the cheap stuff
diesel is still around $2 bucks a gallon
and what happened to all the new cars and truck that are supposed to be better on mileage
seems to me the newer it is the less the miles per gallon

How do your quads run on 87 octane? Cant imagine how bad my cr 500 would ping on it. It will ping on 92, have to mix in 20% 100 oct race gas. Have you ever run them on 92 octane?

I am with RD, I dont buy soda unless it is 4.99 a 24 pack. You said in another post that you make 30% more than the lower 48, doesn't seem like enough. Is everything that much more expensive?

Well I only use the 100 octane in my 2-strokes, and then I mix it with 92. Usually 1.5 gals 100 to 3.5 gals 92. In the winter 1 to 4. The thumpers in my collection run fine on 92, even the ktm. I have talked a lot with the owner (Fred) about gasoline these days and he assures me that he wont buy what he refers to as "rack gas". What am/pm sell's, he claims that he only buy's gas from 76, which he says he doesnt have to do anymore. I have never had any problems with his gas, which I cant say about other's. And yes I have a problem. Another benefit of mixing with the 100 octane is that the shelf life is about 3 mos. almost like adding fuel stabilizer.

I think I paid 1.68 for 89 oct out here. Incriments were in .10 last I checked.

2.03 for regular... 2.33 for diesel.

ouch! Alaska is expensive! My uncle had to go there on business once, said a 12 pack of Coke was some insane amount, like $11.00. You must make really good money!

Edit: Yes, gas prices have increased since the new year. I was starting tog et used to $1.75 but it's going back up, I think last time I got gas it was $1.89. If it stays under $2.00 a gallon, I'll be happy!

Posted by: RaptorRider619

It is like 1.95 for regular and 2.25 for premium in San Diego. Believe it or not this is the cheapest we have had our gas prices in 3 or four months!

Posted by: hondariderAR

1.83 at exxon for 87 oct.

Posted by: paulith

over here 87 is about 1.95 ans premium is 2.17.... i think desil is about 2.07

Posted by: crumley

Down to 167.9 for regular at some places around anchorage. Still put the spendy in the quads, though. My trucks are not so lucky.

Posted by: crumley

And $40 a can for Klotz. I don't like my machines that much.
