IR air tools > all other air tools. End of discussion!

I went through two of those at work. I like Craftsman tools but that model impact just didn't want to hold up to all the use. The best one I have had was th IngrasolRand 2131 impact. It has about the same specs. I think the price was about the same also.

I get my airtools from TheToolWarehouse.net. I've had very good luck with their prices and service. For around $100, you can get yourself a pretty decent 1/2" IR or Chicago Pneumatic impact wrench.

Unless your going to be a professional mechanic I would just get a harbor freight brand or something like that.
I've have had a cheap brand for years and it still works great. $40 or $50 bucks and your good to go.
These are great if you have the $$$$$$$$$$$$ and want the best though.

one of the biggest differences in air tools between expensive and cheap is efficiency...how much air does the tool use. If you save money and get a small capacity compressor get higher quality tools so the compressor doesn't run continously...If you have a 2 cylinder compressor with a 90 gallon tank...the $10 air tools will be fine
