Another better question is, "Who would identify any other quad other than what they ride as the best?"
i.e. Look at the responses you get and then look at their sig. excluding sarcasm of course.

I applaud you for giving credit where you see fit and not simply stating what you drive is superior to all in all occasions.
My experience with sport quads is limited to only the Raptor so I cannot provide a answer to the question other than my quad has been great tooling around fields and dirt roads. Has it had any challenges, no for I have no-one around me to ride with except a couple of 400cc utes and the two do not like each others play ground

I hope you weren't refering to me....considering I have a scrambler. I would have to aggree with bradracer.....dunes~ds650/raptor

xc/450 R
drag/ banshee
trails/ kfx,dvx,z, and the 05 pred ( I like reverse for trails)
Not all fall under that assumption but watch if this thread grows and you will see what I mean.

This subject is to braud. What r we talking about. mx, trails, dunes, or all of them. If you want my opinion on the best ALL around sport atv.. I would have to give it to the Z, DVX, KFX 400 class quads.

Ya Big Black...I know what you meen. Most of the people will reply that their quad is the best. Sometimes its pointless to ask what quad is the best..people will mention about every qud in the book. but what can you do...opinions are alike a$$holes...everyone has one..just wish more people were on this forum that actually cared about answering peoples questions other then stating that there quad is the baddest in every post they make.

When I think of 'Best of all time'.......that includes machines of the past obviously (even though the Banshee is still being built). I'd have to go with the Honda 250R because it was more versatile than the Banshee.
Now this doesn't mean that todays state of the art machines aren't better. It's just that in it's day the Honda 250R was so dominant and soooo far better and maintained that dominance for a long period of time......that with the 'Best of all time' senario......it would be my choice.

deffinatly the kawasaki mojave's and the kfx and so on besides them the honda 250r's where good to its all matter of oppinion really but to say for the facts id say find out the ones thats been around longest and stays ..blood maybe thicker then water, but water has stood the test of time

There is a strong debate going on about which is the best sport ATV of all time (in stock conditions). There has been a lot of ATVs that have stood out of the crowd through the years, but in my opinion i think its a tough competition between the YFZ450 and the DS650, but i have to go with the YFZ. What do you riders think? Whats the best sports ATV?
