Just saw in the Sunday paper, the Best Buy Flyer saying that this game is finally here. If it is as good or better than the original one I might have to add it to my collection.

My uncle got it today and played it. Rave reviews and great graphics from what I hear. I'll probably play a little when I head home this weekend.
Halo 1 was a lot of fun, 2 sounds even better.

I like the easy setting, dont know if halo 2 has it though. I'm not very good at video games, especially FPS's on the x box with those dang anlaog joysticks.

they put more emphasis on multiplayer and co-op then single player

Oh yeah, I hate that damn controller! I have owned my XBox for about 3 years now and the other day when Beech busted out Halo2 it took me about an hour before I stopped saying, "This sucks, where am I going?" Lol...but then I started getting good. I was jacking fools up with that sword thing, huh beech huh? lol....

it is 10x better then halo...well from what I have seen of it....I played 2 rounds of multiplayer in a disclosed location, and all I have to say is WOW...I caught a glimpse of the actuall came and damn...the game looks GREAT!

well, I caved in...I went out and bought it...used tution money for it but I will get paid on friday so that money gets put right back...so far I have played multi played co-op and single player...so far everything is awesome!! One of THE best games out there imho....but that is me

Online Multiplayer is awesome. I've been probably about 4 hours so far and there is no lag at all with even with 50K+ plus playing. Everything is really smooth and there are no framrate issues.

i got to lvl 5 today, its on heroic, its super easy. So far, i think the graphics and the sound suck, but gameplay is cool. its not as cool as i thought it would be img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif" border="0">

I didn't really like the story of Halo 1, but the game play and multiplayer was one of the best ever.
...I saw a preview on t.v. for Halo 2 and can't wait to get my hands on it.

So did you guys just go ahead and start on legondary? or you start on normal. We started on legondary last night and crap Gettin down to the surface is a mutha and then once yoru there you run outta bullets. I decided it was takin too long so switched to normal and we got to where you are the covenant dudes

Yeah it has easy. That was too easy. Didnt even get to alarm stage on my shield for 4 levels and decided that was just a lil too g@y. run into the midlle of the fight and your basically invincible. Legondary sometimes its 1 shot and your dead and its a motha to kill the other guys. Halo is a great game but i just dont foller the story like my buddy does. I can just run the controller and shoot when my target is red or rip around in the warthog or the tank. the tank is pretty bas A$$ its just to slow. The Speeder thingys are kewl. They haul arse when you hit the turbo button

I dont follow the story line that well either. I'am just pretty good at fps's, and liked how the game was set up. Haven't played online, but have had some serious in house battles that lasted hours.
