In the summer the deserts are in the 100's, every day. Once or twice each summer we will go out and spend the night (it will get down into the 80's at night), then get up at 5:00am and ride until maybe 10:00am or so. Then jump in the air conditioned trucks and head home.
Here in the valley, it is usually in the 90's. But, I look out my window at a mountain range that goes from about 4,000' on the west end, to ~12,000' on the east end. So, we can escape to the mountains where it is nice and COOL! Plus, we have the Sierras which are about 3 hrs. drive, and Pismo which is about 4 hrs. away.

It was SOOOOO hot riding at the track the other day, i could barely stand it. I had sweat running down my arms, my hair was about plastered to my head with sweat between my skull and the helmet, It was almost miserable till i went through a creek and got completely soaked, then it wasnt so bad, but it is definatly hot down here in Georgia...

I think you will love Florida, At least you have beaches to ride on and maybe some smaller dune type sand mounds on the beach. We are going on vacation to florida friday-tuesday i believe, in Panama, Im even missing a race for it

I get up at 4am and it's already 75. Summer is not even here yet. Could be worse, looks like AZ is frying now. When my a$$ gets a blister form a hot seat, then it's too hot.

The hottest I've ridden in was a race in August - it was about 115 on the starting line......you learn ways to cope with the heat....like racing along with the water truck in the pits and running through the water on your quad as it sprays out....that's the best in the middle of the summer.....you are dry again in about 2 laps!!!
Out here they run most of their races/practices at night now.....most of our tracks have gotten lights up....makes it WAY nice for us.....riding / racing all year around now!! WOOHOO!!!

Luckily it doesn't get to hot here to ride. light clothing, camel pack, dust mask, and were off. It does get pretty dang dusty in some place once the weather warms up. That's the only thing that keeps me away.
