Acura TL is nice but how about a BMW 3-Series instead? Or maybe an Infiniti G35 Sedan?

Psycho: Stop trying to sell that Supra. Keep it

I live in the North section of Kentucky next to Cinncinnati, Ohio. The caves are around 2 hours from me. I've been to them twice and they are really amazing. Well worth the visit.
I go to the Smokey Mountains a few times a year and always enjoy it. You should check out Deals Gap over in North Carolina only about 1 hour from Pigeon Forge it is awesome.

I will speak from experience. I have an Acura TL and a HD 2500 crewcab. Drove the truck to Seattle last summer, parked it in my sister's driveway, and that sucker didn't move until we went home. If you're in the big city, and are looking for a daily driver, get the Acura. The truck will just give you headaches in that environment. If you're in Montana like me, a crewcab is a sporty lil' driver.

Two words. Monster Truck. Sure gas would be a problem, but parking, just park on top of 'em. Seriously, if you have a good truck, a nice car would be a good choice. You may want to go somewhere formal, where a truck may be out of place. Of course, in Texas, you can tell if it's a formal affair. The trucks have all been washed.

If I go with the car, I'm leaning heavily towards the the Acura TL. Now I just have to make the choice. The truck would be awesome, but I live the BIG city and with all the traffic around here, gas would kill me, especially now that its over 2 bucks a gallon. Another problem with that is parking. There are very limited parking spaces where I live and whenever there is one available its usually too small for a truck. With the car, my gas mileage wouldn't be so bad and I could park that thing anywhere. I can already guess that most of you would say go with the truck. But I just thought I'd share my situation. Thanks for any input.
If you already have something to haul around your toys with then go with the Acura. Because as long as you have your toy hauler covered, why get another truck if you live in LA? You can save some money with gas and use it for some parts for your rapotor or whatever you want.

Thanks fellas, I think I'm gonna go with the TL, I already have means of transporting my rappy so that won't be a problem. I really do like them HD's though. But the Acura will definitely be more economical and be the right choice for the city. I'll let ya'll know when I get it.

I did look into the BMW 3-series, but out here in L.A. everybody and their mother drives one. They are nice, but I want something different. And I do happen to like the looks of the TL better. As for the G35, its okay, but it looks to family-ish to me. I want something a little more sporty.

Come now, nut up and go for the truck! J/KBR>
I personally need a truck so it's not much of a choice for me. You're right though, the gas will kill you and parking is very often a b!tch at best if you live in the city. I would say that if you have another way to get your toys to the sand and if you aren't really going to use the truck as a "truck" very often, go for the car.

wish you lived closer so i could make you a deal on the supra or the tiger. get the car.
Posted by: TexasPsycho
i sold the thing once and ended up buying it back from the dude because he couldn't afford insurance, plus i kinda missed it. i've got to many toys and need to get rid of a few. especially since i'm thinking of getting a suzuki samuria to play around in the mud with. right now it's a hard choice of which one to sell, the supra or the tiger. the tiger was for my son when he starts driving but thats 9 years from now, ok it was really for me but i had to tell the wife that. just have to wait and see what happens in the next couple of months.

Catterman, i don't keep mine in 4wheel all the time but it gets used pretty regular on the farm. we have plenty of mud in this area plus the low range gets worked too. DueceRooster what part of Kentucy are you from? we were at the mamoth caves last summer on vacation but didn't get to go through them. thats some nice country up there. we go every couple of years on vacation to camp in the smokeys and apalations ( bet i spelled that wrong ).

or you could just buy a new quad.....

I agree, if you already have a quad hauler, you definately can't go wrong with the Acura.

Why would you even need a truck in LA? (I know you, AlphaRaptor660R, need something to haul so I am not directing this at you) Every time I go to California or Texas or Florida I see all these trucks, most of them are 4x4. Do they EVER use it down there???
