That's why I still play Sledstorm on the Playstation 1!!! You hafta upgrade your sleds to go faster. And I too like MX Unleashed more than Off-Road Fury 2. Just seems so the "action" is faster......Plus driving a monster truck and dune buggy is always fun.....

One way of making it a better game would be to allow for adding aftermarket parts. Kinda like Gran Turismo. Imagine for 2k you can add a big bore to your bike. For 5 hundred add a pipe. 100 for a k+n and jetting. or for 500 add nos.

Sandblaster360, if you like those ideas, what if they allowed you to customize even more. Adding a turbo to your bike, longer swingarm, differnent shocks, and more. Imagine having all the major brands of bikes and alot of aftermarket companies pushing real parts for each bike. Even going further by allowing you to put custom specs into the motor. Special grind cams, bigger pistons, larger valves.BR>
Man my mind is working in overdrive. They just need to let me become part of the design team.

Not quite 3d, but they are getting closer to the computers in terms of performance and reality. I have heard rumours that the ps3 will be out this fall, but I cannot be sure.
With sony still reaping record sales for the ps2 at 200 bucks a crack, I really dont see them needing to release the new console yet. Microsoft wont be ready for this fall, and nintendo is still trying to get the game cube up to snuff.

I think xbox sales will start to go up now. I was at target and seen the price dropped again!! now it is at 150$!! As of right now the best gaming system spec wise is the xbox but game wise ps2...one halo 2 and doom 3 comes out...I would almost be willing to bet sales will go through the roof...well at least for the two games...I think nintendo is looking at its death machine wise. As for microsoft...well they have money to blow so they will be the ones who are going to set the standerd for a while is my guess...sure ps3 may come out first...but x^2 (xbox2) comes out I am sure that their performance will out do sony...xbox is a great system...just a little on the heavy side

oh a glitch i found was like in the quad choosing menu it like say kfx 700 v twin. and when you play it in the game its a kfx 400. even the pic is a 400 i think just the words mest up. or its something like that. the quad you get from atv offroad fury is called the g ride. bomb six thousand is faster though. lots of fake stuff though. like two strokes have four stroke pipes. and duals on single silinders. really reat game though. that would be cool if they made the next one like need for speed underground. that game kills granturismo!!!!!!!!!

hay 400ect(pardon spelling) the new need for speed is nothing like the old ones. i never liked the old ones at all. u would never know that this was made by the same people. as for tuning every little thing on your car. no you cant adjust all of that stuff. but the phisics are so real its scary. and also the sense of speed is insane. i am also a huge fan of gt3 but my need for speed is more fast and furious style. my r34 skyline gives you tunnel vision form real. and you can actually see your cars get totoaled and roled many times. as for realism on gran turismo its pretty dam good exept that some things i found i dont like. i can make a car fly and lift off the gorund and go 900 miles per our after about 40 min of playing with suspension and air dams. also it is almost impossible to set a car up for like fun stunting. exept the celica. with adjusting like everything on the trd celica you can like launch and burn through 6 gears with the e brake on. on need for speed you can do like cyclones. lunches, nos purges, blow your motor. the only thing that makes the game so much better is play it in standard mode. its harder but like any racing game you will have a huge advantage over any of the automatics later on. almost all of these stunts can only be done with a manual to in underground. i think im going to go play underground now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah,great game,i too think it would be better if you could put on your own parts,likestart out w/ a cheap quad,fix it up a bit and sell it to get a bigger and better quad.it would be really cool if it was set up exactall like the gran turismo games.

i think it should be like tonyhawk underground. just making reference to teh similar type of game since you have to build up to be a pro skater. they should do it to be a pro racer too in an atv game involving upgrading and getting sponsors, commpeating. thats from what ive read here that players want. i guess that would be a better compariison only that tonyhawk game is skating not atv riding. and you dont have to make note of it i know i need grammar and spell check on this reply.

Offroad Fury 2 already has tag anyway...I think...but where did you hear about it coming out at Christmas--I did on search on the web for it and couldn't really find anything

I have quad power racing 2 and atv offroad fury 1&2. Quad power racing isnt as realistic and not as good. Its still fun tho. Ya i agree that would be cool to be able to custimize you quad with any thing.

its a good game but its the little things that bring it down
like
on the 250ex it has a clucth and same with the v force 700 but in real life they dont
and the guy never even uses the clutch to shift gears.
and other little things
but besides that its preaty cool

yea, there should be shops like duncan and sparks that you can go to and buy parts, and you should be able to jet your carb and blah blah blah. theres sooooo many things that they should do for the third one, i think i heard that they are making a third one for sure. oh and being able to drag race and hill climb would be cool

i read that if you type in raptor in the cheats it would let you have a raptor ,i never could get it to work.if you want cheat codes go to www.allps2.com and you can get any cheat codes for ps2 games, awsome site

I have not played need for speed underground, but if it is anything like other versions of the need for speed games it cannot compare to the realism of GT3. Most who play it never get the full effect of the game's realism because of there limited knowledge of cars. On GT3 everthing can be fully customized. Every little change in the suspension geometry, tires, engine or gear ratios effect the attitude of the car's handling or performance. Not to mention, that the cars handle very much like actual cars would while turning, braking and accelerating. I wish game makers would apply these same features to ATV fury. That would be awesome.

I still say it should be like grand turismo. The fun is in racing mutiplayer with the same car. Both players can have the same car but who ever is the better tuner will have a much faster car and be able to run faster lap times, if they have the diving skills. It makes for good competition.

they have a dune track for atv off road fury 2 but you dont race trucks and there are two quads that are 4 cilinders that do 98mhp. I've never heard of the rest of the stuff you just said.
atv quad power racing is ok. it was one of the first games to come out for ps2. its not that relistic though. none of the bikes look real,for instance the banshee is only a 1 cilinder.but the stunts are ausome in that game, and the racing is alright.
as far as ATV OFF ROAD FURY 2 goes that game is the best yet in my eyes, but its got a new challenger. MX UNLEASHED.
if I had the money I'd go buy another atv off road fury 2 (since my sister ruined mine) and a mx unleashed.
has any one heard of the new atv off raod fury? its like a greatist hits version. I wonder if its any better than atv off road fury 2?

and 1 BIG DS RIDER, thats an ausome idea. they should definetly do that. like your bike starts out stock and when you win races you get $$$ to spend on after market parts.

they did not give the 400ex enough credit. The mojave or lakote sport was just as good as the 400ex, and everyone knows neither of those bikes compare to the 400 on a moto track.
i wish you could start with a stock bike and upgrade. Getting sponserships would be cool too.

Has anyone played that game. It is for ps2 and is about the best you can get to real life atving. There is even a first person view, u are the driver and u can see the handle bars. You see the driver thumb throttle it, clutch, brake, it is soo cool!
