The T-6 is my all time favorite boot. They will break in some, but they are stiff for a reason. That is what will save your foot when you run over it!

Just sounds like a bad experience with cheaper boots. Buying boots under around $200 are bound to have problems. I have had Fox Forma Pro's for around 6 months now, they are light and broke in easily, and still perform like new.

the buckles broke and the sole's wore out before you could evean flex your ankle enough to shift without using your leg.

yea whatever something like that, the most expensive one's alpine stars made. I ride in construction boots since my crash and burn.

yea there good for that.

Hey ya'll, I just bought some Alpine Stars Tech-6 boots and I'm wondering how long it will take them to break in. I put them on last night and seemed like it was going to be hard to shift since I could barely move my ankle. I paid 169.99 for them so I think got a pretty decent price...So anyway, how long did you gusy to break yours in?

lol...to school, are you serious? That's pretty funny. I don't think I could wear them to work but I'll put them on when I get home...

Well, hopefully these will last me a while. The main reason I bought them was to protect my ankles. I also injured my ankle when I broke my collar bone a couple of months ago and I thought if I had some riding boots I wouldn't have hurt it.

i got some t-30's recently and they are awesome. only took me about 4 or 5 rides until i could shift just fine. i love them though, they make a huge difference

I have FOX boots and it took about 2 weeks. Just were them all the time instead of regular shoes I wore mine to skool

i've had my A-star tech 4's for over a year with LOTS of riding time on them and not a single problem yet.
