Just as the Martha Stewart crap starts too die down we have this. I am sure it's a decent movie, but It seems the media is only fixed on one thing at a time.

what makes me mad....is how the some of the media is complaining about the rated r for violence restriction....well for the people who dont know, in the Bible, it says that he was beaten so badly that you couldnt even tell he was human....if the movie actually portrayed his wounds as bad as the Bible says....the media would be crazy, God Bless

i went and saw it on opening night it was truely amazing and yes i dont believe anyone under 12 should go see it because it is rated R and it has a lot of vilance (sp?) but its how it really was when Jesus went through it for us.

I was warned not to take my litte ones as the graphic violence is well detailed. The guy who told me said the theater was very quiet. From the Bible reading about the crucifying of our LORD and seeing it portrayed on the screen in such graphics makes you realy think about what the LORD did for our sins. AlaskaBoy.
