I use a program called PopUpCop . It has many different features such as allowing certain things on certain sites you visit. Great progam. You might be able to get it at downloads.com

My pop-up blocker will allow the window if I try 3 times, it stops the pop-up the first 2 times and then let's it work the 3rd.

pop up blockers will stop the pop ups but also interfere with scripts and java and many other web based processes.

I'd say get rid of the blocker...they are bad.

Google has a add on tool bar for your browser, it has a free pop up blocker and a autofill
button, google search area. best of all its easy to use, you turn on the add blocker, and
on the pages you want popups you click the block button and it will always allow pop ups
from that page only.. I have it on all my pc's... make sure you read it durring installation,
because, if you install it one way it will keep track of what sites you go to with page ranks
and report them to google, but you can install it without the reporting...

He's right about google!!! i use it also, the best blocker i've ever used. anytime you click on somthing it'll tell you if it's being blocked or not. it's stoped over 150 in just a few weeks for me. it's perfect.
