What else would you expect from the team with the highest payroll every year?

I also noticed how the Athletics' first baseman homered twice and the Mariners' second baseman hit the game-winning home run.

I don't blame the Yankees, its baseball's fault in general.

You would think they would realize there was a problem when early-season Monday Night Football games crush World Series games in the ratings like happened last year.

I thought it was a great game, but i wanted boston to win, i agree that the yankees win to much. But ill give them credit they have got one hell of a team, and if youve got the team to do it, then do it, you cant really say well you win to much so throw the game. They did good. Jeff

The red sox manager was a moron for letting pedro stay in after the 7th...he was tired and every oneknew it. I think it would have been better if a relief pitcher was in there sooner, my $.o2

I can't say that I'm happy that the Yankees are in the World Series again. I really wanted a Cubs- Red Sox series, but since the Cubs aren't there then at least let the Sox in. The Yankees win entirely too much, I guess that is what happens when you got a 180 million dollar payroll. So anyway I now have absolutely no reason to watch the World Series, and I hope the Marlins win just to put the dagger in the Yankees hearts.

That was an exciting game towards the end. Great come from behind yankees but I still wanted boston to win. Yankees win to much

Yeah, I'll never get tired of seeing my home team win. They are the greatest baseball team in history. I love when people say the Yankees "win too much." Like there is such a thing. LOL
